ZillowVERIFIED Service and Expertise are #1 for me and in that regard, Mike McCatty provides excellent service and his expertise especially in the area I was selling in, is top-notch. Having a lot of previous sales experience in my development meant he already knew how to market and sell in the HoA I lived in, and what the requirements were to complete the sale with the property management company. Mike also properly communicated expectations in selling during this time of economic uncertainty knowing the market was shifting. Even still, my home received plenty of traffic, solid feedback and a number of interested buyers. I cannot possibly say enough kind things about Mike, his client-centric approach and calm demeanor in addressing other realtor's lack of professionalism, such as not leaving my home as it was found, unlocked, etc.. Tom is a LOCAL expert which is very important! I have had plenty of real estate experiences but encountered Tom while selling my familys home. Tom was incredibly helpful, laid out a plan of action, was appropriately realistic and helpful in his suggestions and was very patient in explaining all aspects of the transaction. He is a cross between a friend/realtor/contractor/Dad... and I mean this in all the best ways because the real estate process requires not only transaction expertise but also compassion and patience and working knowledge about the mechanics and construction of properties. My aunt used Tom on both the buy-side and sell-side for her real estate needs and has been equally impressed.

ZillowVERIFIED Mike McCatty was extremely professional from start to finish. Mike answers his phone probably 95% of the time within a few rings. The other 5% he calls you back within 5 minutes. Extremely responsive. Mike has deep and current market knowledge for the area. He knows exactly what the market is doing and can detail what it will take to get your house sold and is honest about it (the good and the bad). He makes valid recommendations that are appropriate for your specific home in your specific market segment. We had already moved and were dealing with selling a home from 100 miles away. But, as difficult as it was, Mike and his team made the process as easy as possible for us. As an example, I had ordered shingles for a roofer to do some repairs prior to closing ... When they arrived at Home Depot, I needed to get them to the house. I asked mike if he knew anyone I could pay to do the pickup as I was 100 miles away. Mike drove to Home Depot personally and picked them up within the hour ... I did not ask for this level of service and was surprised by it ... It was very appreciated and took the stress out of a difficult situation ... We have bought and sold 5 homes in Orland Park over the past 20 years and Mike was by far the best realtor we have ever dealt with ... We can strongly recommend he and his team.

ZillowVERIFIED For a very long time, I have been searching for the right house for myself and my family. I had started working with an agent with a well known agency because my real estate experience was not very strong. I would give the agent all of the specifics on the type of house and budget I was looking for. He would send me pages upon pages of listings, but none of them would meet my specific criteria. After going back-and-forth with him on not being able to find a house in all of his listings, I became extremely frustrated and demoralized. Then, I came across another agent by the name of Joe Labit who also works with a well-known agency and thought I would give him a try. I gave Joe all of the same criteria that I gave the previous agent and the first response I got from Joe only had a handful of listings, but these listings or all houses that I am that up looking at because they met each and everyone of my criteria. Joe is a very pleasant and knowledgeable person to work with and helped me from beginning to end purchasing the house that I and my family both love very much. I will recommend him to anybody that needs a real estate agent from this point on.
