ZillowVERIFIED I'm just going to start by saying that you wont find a better realtor then Mike. Between him and his wife Missy, it was a incredible experience. Having purchased homes before, it leaves you hesitant for the experience ahead. There is absolutely no exaggeration when I say that they both go way above and beyond what they should have to. The whole experience they hold your hand and walk you through everything. There for you in every step of the process. Have incredible communication with you. In a super tough buying market we expected to put in tons of offers before one getting accepted and more so expected that we were going to have to settle for something we didnt want. Mike hustled non stop finding listings, at first they both sat down with us to see what really mattered most. They build a check list and go to work. The first weekend we didnt find much, and Mike has your best interest in mind when looking at houses. He is basically a home inspector and helps you find the good and bad, protecting your from making a bad decision. The second weekend we were anxious to get into a house. Mike had a house up his sleeve that he wanted to show us. Knocked it out of the park. Checked off all of our boxes and was well under what we expected to spend. A beautiful house that we didnt think was going to be possible in this market. So he coached us as to what offer we should put in. He didnt let us be too aggressive in case we have to move in 3 years but at the same time he makes sure that its going to be a offer that will be considered. We got the house! Although at this point we expected him to ride off into the sunset as he sold us a house, he didnt. He was there by our side for every inspection, walk through, paperwork, etc. Hes been in Colorado Springs long enough as well that he knew everyone that we needed for inspections, etc. And they were all equally as great and trustworthy. We were never left with a question that wasnt answered immediately. Additionally our 3 year old went with us to every showing. She can be shy but took to Mike like she knew him her whole life. Requesting he hold and play with her. Often she would ask where her friend Mike was and that she wanted to go to work with him as she knew this was his job. Thats the exceptional experience these guys offer. I cant imagine having another experience buying a house that was this great! So with that being said, if we have to move again I hope that Mike and Missy are willing to fly out and help us find our next home!! I will 100% continue recommending these guys to everyone. Thank you for the amazing and easy experience!

Once the tenants were out, Mike and his team basically became the General Contractor, making sure everything was fixed and updated before putting the home on the market. Going into this, we knew the market was super competitive given our price point and we were prepared to make sacrifices in order to get into a house. Fortunately, with Tarema's help we did not have to sacrifice ANYTHING! We closed last month on an amazing house that checks every box on our wish list and more! One of the things I appreciated the most about Tarema was her responsiveness. There was one occasion in particular that really surprised me. I texted her a question I had about our ongoing negotiations fairly late at night expecting to hear back in the morning and she actually replied right away! Most agents I know of turn their phones off in the evening. It was really nice to know that she was always there for us and willing to answer any questions we had. She was so easy to get a hold of even during the day when I am sure she tended to many other clients. Anytime I called or texted she either answered right away or got right back to us. Still, when we were actually walking houses together she kept her attention on us the whole time. I did not have to compete with other clients calls or texts. I seriously don't know how she does it! She is so busy and yet we felt like her only clients. She went above and beyond for us. We had a contractor picked out for some work we planned on having done after closing and the sellers were going to be writing a check directly to the contractor so we HAD to have one picked out prior to closing. When our original contractor fell through due to some scheduling conflicts, Tarema had already contacted several other contractors before we even knew of the initial contractor would not have worked out. When she told us about the mishap she also provided us with the contact information for a new contractor that she had already vetted and confirmed their availability for our preferred time frame. She was so on top of things. Anytime there was a problem she had a solution. Tarema also communicated well with our lender directly to ensure everyone was on the same page and deadlines were always being met. She was flexible, reliable, and professional every step of the way. Before starting this process I had always heard that home buying, especially in this market, is extremely stressful. I can honestly say that this was about as stress free as home buying can get and we have Tarema to thank for that. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a good realtor.

Even though there was great care in each step up until an offer was made and accepted, it was post offer where the full team work of the MacGuire Team really shined though. Inspections, Appraisals, purchase agreements, follow up to work completed from inspections or as well as many other items in the process to get to closing they were flawless. Everything was done in advance, correctly, and the MacGuire Team was always one step ahead of everything to make sure we could get to closing on time.
