From the very beginning Michael was responsive, following up with us after a couple of weeks even though we were in the state of "we want to move but we're not sure when". I did not live in the area anymore, and of greater concern was that there was still a hefty sized mortgage remaining. So, I made the decision to put the house up for sale. I set out looking for a real estate agent who was someone I felt comfortable with, who would answer all my questions, and who could take the ball and run with it. I interviewed multiple realtors, but it was Michael Swift who left a great impression on me. After taking an initial look at the house, Michael came up with several options for selling the house. The house really did require some attention because it was basically neglected for months. I ultimately went along with his suggested game plan of repainting the house, removing the popcorn ceiling, installing recessed LED lighting, and updating bathrooms. Once the decision was made, Michael and his team got the ball rolling setting up contractors to perform work on the house. The team kept me updated every step of the way. I liked the fact they always offered me multiple options for the work. This was my first time selling a home, and I thought it would be a stressful ordeal. Honestly, the hardest thing of the entire process was moving my Dads belongings out of the house. The preparation and marketing have to be spot on to generate a lot of traffic through the home and get so many offers right away.
