Most notably, he dealt with and protected us from a seller that we were not sure would follow through with what she promised. We were out of the country during most of the paper signing and he was able to assist us long distance. He is obviously respected by his colleagues for his integrity because whenever we said his name to any house inspector and/or other real-estate related associate, they immediately had high praise for his bank of knowledge and the trust he has earned in the business. The first time we talked to him on the phone, we could tell that he has a very kind and easy manner, the kind of person we prefer doing business with. Michael's estimate of the value of our home was right on and that drew a lot of interested buyers. We had 3 solid offers within one week of our official listing. Because we live on the Olympic Peninsula (a long drive to Bellingham), we did most of our business over the phone or via email. Michael quickly responded to our questions/concerns and kept us updated on a regular basis. Our situation was complicated by renters who were not always as cooperative as we would have hoped. He managed the situation with respect toward them at all times. We deeply appreciate his patience and support throughout our time working together. We highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a realtor.

We found a partially finished new home on the internet but really didn't know anything about the local market relative to lenders, contractors, etc. Michael helped guide us through the entire process from home inspection to mortgage provider all through the phone and email. His local knowledge of the market and who were reliable parties to deal with made the whole process much smoother with less stress. Although hard to believe our ourselves we closed on the house in Portland, OR before actually traveling up to Bellingham to see the house in person. But all worked out well and we are happy to have the second home. We would highly recommend Michael for his high level of customer service and support.
