She called me and I didn't pick up the phone but called 2 hours later only for her to tell me and my wife that a house just came on the market, WE BOUGHT THAT VERY HOUSE.Then we needed help selling our old house, it was a real challenge with repairs we needed and Meryl helped us find a few contractors and just made that nightmare a dream when we went to list, we had an offer that very day and under contract the next day. I was put in touch with Meryl who helped me purchase my home in March 2018. At the time I was a first time home buyer and so I was a very abrasive person, asking multiple questions along the way. She made sure to make my first time home buying experience as smooth as possible; and she did just that. Fast forward to May 2020; I received orders to a new duty station and I needed to sell my home. I knew Meryl would do just that. Meryl told me to be patient and list the house in November 2020, because I would actually be leaving Fort Benning, GA in December 2020. This was to ensure I could keep my family in the house as long as possible and prolong movers to pick up our household goods until our final days in Georgia. I did everything Meryl asked to have my house listing READY. I would call her impatiently saying I'm ready to list, but her expertise always kicked in to keep me on track. This was to ensure we received the most views on the house when she listed the home. Meryl was right! She was very detailed oriented and explained everything that comes along with looking for and purchasing a home. After our first meet I walked away with lots of information as she answered all my questions before I even asked! Meryl is very prompt in her response no matter the time of day. The house we chose to buy was being viewed by another potential buyer when we called to view the property and within minutes, Meryl was able to show us the property and shortly after we said we want it she drew up our offer and sent us comps in the neighborhood. ZillowVERIFIED We met Meryl by luck. She was recommended to us by locals when we came down to look at housing. You can not find a friendlier person who is as dedicated to their job. Meryl spent 3 days fully walking through and seeing multiple houses till we found the right one. Thank you Meryl for your patience! We finally found the right house with Meryl and were able to get an agreement by the next day. The rest of the process was done remotely. Meryl is up to date on all the new technological advancements in her field. You don't have to go to her in person constantly everything can be done remote with her if need be. Now that we moved into our new house we have had Meryl come and visit. The way that Meryl works makes you feel like a friend if not family. She let us take our time. It was our first home and she helped us to make sure it was the one that we really wanted. If you need help, she'll go out and find one fits what you're looking for as well. One, time we even had a flat tire on the highway while we home searching with her. She used her AAA to get us back up in rolling while it was raining in which of course we still didn't choose a home that day. lol We had a great time in the middle of all of the chaos and eventually we were able to find the home we wanted. ZillowVERIFIED Out of 5 homes I have bought over the last 20 years, Meryl is absolutely the best realtor I have ever had. My wife and I were looking for a large amount of land with a house in Harris County. The 1st house Meryl showed us was the winner. The deal was VERY complex - the house was part of an estate from a gentleman who had passed with 6 heirs, all of whom lived across the United States and none near, and none directly related to him, as well as the executor. The house had been vacant for nearly 3 years due to the pricing issues. She handled the negations with patience and flair, always fighting to get us the best deal possible and worked hand-in-hand with the listing realtor to make our retirement home a reality. The parcel of land we wanted had to be broken out of a much larger spread which in-and-of itself required the patience of a saint as she dealt with cranky surveyors, the county assessor and bureaucracy, well inspectors, and a motley cast of a dozen or more characters, all with their own requirements and agendas. In the end it took nearly three months but she was there every step of the way, believed in the deal and what she thought we could get. Even while on vacation on the west coast she stayed on top of things, always approachable and contactable. Because of her, we ended up with a much larger piece of land than we thought possible, as well as the house, barn, and an additional very large structure on the property we intend to renovate. No detail escaped her attention; even at closing she found a critical mistake and brought it to the closing firms attention. Meryl is a true realtor professional, and as this deal shows, an absolute master of her trade. Honestly, my wife and I don't write many reviews. Meryl is absolutely a credit to her profession and the most professional and knowledgeable realtor I have known. Thank you for believing in this and making it happen!
