ZillowVERIFIED I saw the listing and when I called Melody answered, which never happens when I call listings and we set up an appointment for that day. Melody walked us thru the home and answered all of our questions and one question she was not sure of got back to us the same day. I was amazed that she knew every detail of the area. One issue I had was that I had another property I was selling in escrow and didn't want to get a loan if possible, instead of pushing me for a quick escrow she said let me present to the seller first. Luckily I was able to have an entended escrow which was great. Usually, after going into escrow you have to chase the agent/broker down when you have questions but not Melody, she would take calls and get back to me ASAP with any questions I had. When I researched the market, she is definitely the market leader. I would use her again in a heartbeat because she is very honest and doesn't just say what you want to hear to get the sale or listing.

Some would assume that because the market is hot, all deals happen easily and to the sellers advantage. Not so. The hot market is fraught with fickle or nervous buyers, shortages of qualified inspectors and appraisers, and over worked loan officers. Frustration and emotion can easily become the driving force if a steady hand is not on the wheel. Melody was that steady hand. She worked through challenges as they arose and did not waiver in her stewardship of deal. I believe that all parties benefitted from this and walked away happy. Ultimately we did not aEURoeneedaEUR? to sell and I am not sure our transaction would have gone through without Melodys involvement.

She worked tirelessly with her designer to aEURoestageaEUR? our house using our existing furnishings. She obtained numerous showings immediately upon listing and our house was in escrow about a month after listing. She used a specific targeted marketing approach for our geographic enclave to attract many qualified and likely potential buyers. Between the time of signing the purchase contract and closing while inspections were put on hold due to the pandemic, the buyer for the property attempted to negotiate a $100,000 purchase price adjustment during the time the stock market was precipitously falling. I was adamant about not lowering the price and Melody was totally supportive of my position. I have been in similar situations with rental homes we have purchased and sold and felt pressure from a prior realtor to reduce my purchase price because the realtor was only interested in earning a commission.
