Melda Bates

Melda Bates is a unique real estate expert whose career has much depth across the industry, where she is known for her dedication to her clients and colleagues. Given her unique name, Melda has had her fair share of nicknames . . . Mel, Imelda, Melba, and Mel B. Born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised 40 miles north in a small town, Melda's family (she's the baby of eight) headed for the warmth of Florida when she was 14. The sunshine state was home to Melda for 24 years, where she attended Daytona State College on days it was too cloudy for the beach. Melda is an experienced real estate professional and served as the marketing director for one of Central Florida's top producing teams for five years. before Melda earned her Virginia real estate licenses in 2014, her Associate Brokers license in 2017, and also worked in architecture for several years. In her free time, Melda spends time loving her Giant Schnauzers George and Betty, Bouvier des Flandres Henry (foster fail), doing yoga, relaxing with friends and family and most definitely working on some kind of project.
