We had previously worked with Melanie to purchase the home that we were in so working with her again was a no brainer. I called Melanie to set up our first meeting to do a walkthrough. She knew we were on a tight deadline to sell (I was 5 months pregnant) so she agreed to meet just days after the call which just happened to be the week of Thanksgiving. During our walkthrough she listened to all of our wants/needs/concerns/goals then provided us with a strategic plan to get the house ready to sell for the best price asap. She had already done the research of the surrounding neighborhoods gathering all the details on what sold recently and what was currently listed. She then shared the details with us so we could set a price. After that meeting, we all got to work.My husband and I worked on the house getting it decluttered and Melanie used her network of resources to find us the contractors we needed to put the finishing touches on the house prior to putting it up for sale. We moved very quickly and had the house ready to be listed in 2 weeks! If we had to find the contractors ourselves it would have prolonged the process but with Melanies resourcefulness, we knew we were getting quality people who could help us accomplish our goals and meet our deadline.With our house now camera ready, Melanie scheduled the photographer to have pictures taken as well as aerial shots and a 3D view. We strategized with Melanie on best times to allow viewings once the house was listed and when we would review the offers. She set our minds at ease as she set expectations with the process especially since it was Dec. Our house listed on a Friday afternoon and sold by Monday morning with agreement to close within 30 days!Melanie made a process that can be so stressful (especially with me being pregnant in my third trimester by the time we closed) and made it streamlined moving through each step with ease. She was in constant communication with us so we always knew where we were at and what to expect. With Melanies master negotiation skills, we got the best deal possible on our house. We were moving out of state otherwise we would have worked with her to purchase our next house. She is absolutely incredible and working with her will be the BEST decision you will make! I was coming in from Florida and with work in the way, I didnt have time to fly up and look at homes in person. Melanie gave me multiple video tours of the houses I liked and didnt make me settle for one I thought I aEURoemight wantaEUR?.
