Mel was a FANTASTIC ally in helping us relocate from Ohio to Maryland. She understood that we had very little knowledge of the communities surrounding DC. She helped us with all of the various aspects of closing on our home. She was INCREDIBLY responsive when we reached out via e-mail and text, answering our questions very quickly. She also has an outstanding knowledge of lenders, settlement companies and all of the legal things that come along with purchasing a home. She is, by far, the best realtor that I have worked with. Mel worked with us to buy a house in Silver Spring that we just closed this week (July 24th). We could not be happier regarding her support. With todays competitive market for buyers, Mel knew all the best practices to get our offer in quickly and how to make it attractive. She did things like pre-write contracts for houses we were really interested in and helped setup preinspections so we could get our offer in almost immediately after seeing a house, she often rearranged her schedule so we could see houses as soon as they hit the marker, and she called selling agents to figure out the level of interest from other buyers. We started seriously looking for a home in mid-June and had an offer accepted June 30th (maybe a record in todays market!). In addition, Mel was always available to answer questions. We really felt like she had our best interest at heart throughout the process and was not looking for the easiest way to close a deal. We highly recommend working with her, it was a great experience.

Mel did an outstanding job in helping me finding a house to rent in Bethesda area. She has a deep knowledge of the area. Very pro active. Worked hard. Answered my questions right away. Mel did a wonderful job as our agent. She was very knowledgeable and always told us how things are, what kind of contract contingency?s were, and showed time and time again that she was looking out for our best interest in mind when we first met her on 4/2/23. To start things off, she asked us a lot of questions in regards to what we were both looking for in a place to get a better understanding on the type of home that we wanted. That?s when she got to work and showed us the first place on the very next day which had all that we asked for, but was something that we didn?t go for since it was too small. While she kept updating a list based on our interest, we also found a place that wasn?t currently in her list and was able to show us the place the the very next day on 4/3/23. Having a good understanding on our financial situation, she explained to us that this was not the place for us after we viewed the property. She helped us put in several offers beginning on 4/7/23 that were of interest to us in tough market and gave incredible advice on what we needed to do to make the contract look more appealing to the seller. Finally on the 12th of April, we finally found the place that we were looking for and was able to win the contract on the 13th based on her advice. What really impressed me the most that no matter what questions I had, she would send me a response right away, no matter what time it was! I really do appreciate all the work and dedication that she had put into us in helping us find our first home that we both wanted!

In our endeavor to return to the DMV from over 20 years abroad, we started our search for professional Realtors online as most people do.
