Matt and Kathy work as a team in that she was able to help us stage our house to make the online listing and showings more appealing. Matt also listened to our needs for a new home, neighborhood and schools. He is very well versed in the Minneapolis area, especially south and southwest Minneapolis. He made it easy for us to visit the homes that best matched our with list by knowing the area and houses typically built in that neighborhood. Many homes we were interested in seeing he had visited at some point in career so could help us sort though many listings in a short amount of time. ZillowVERIFIED I interviewed 3 Realtors and could have picked either local guy--they both impressed me with their knowledge of the area and came up with the same selling price. Matt rose above because he clearly understood what I needed. I would be out of town from Thanksgiving through early January (listing in mid November) except for 2 days and Matt said, "What you need is for me to project direct the sale of your home." and gave me an example that he had recently done for an estate sale.With his recommendation for a handyman we got the house ready in 2 days (I had it pretty clean already), they staged it (again, pretty simple) and his photographer came day 4 and was AWESOME. My house never looked so good. The house went on MLS in Tuesday afternoon and I had 2 offers in 2 days; one for full price.The selling process went perfectly--from afar. Matt arranged for any legitimate requests on the inspection to be done, all I had to do was give credit card numbers and/or leave a check. Matt was my power of attorney at the closing while I drove cross country to my new/now home in San Diego. Matt was exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, responsive. He kept everything moving and never dropped the ball. I'd be happy to recommend him or tell anyone about him!

ZillowVERIFIED Matt was our Realtor for 2 purchases (1999 and 2010) and 2 home sales (2008 and 2010), all of which were in the South Minneapolis Nokomis area. Being from the area himself, he brought a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to the transactions. For the 2 home sales we worked with Matt on, they were both in very much buyers markets, however we were able to receive offers fairly quickly both times and had smooth closings. We attribute a lot of that success to all the pre and post work Matt put in.
