ZillowVERIFIEDMary did an EXCELLENT job handling the sale of our home. She is an expert in insuring the price and conditions are fair and reasonable for her clients. This is the second home sale she has done for us and we would definitely use her again. She is a total pleasure to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED I used Mary to sell my sisters house. I am out of state so I wanted someone who was in the area. Mary was very helpful in getting local contractors to fix some things at the house. The whole process went very smoothly and I couldnt have done it without her.

BEWARE of doing business with this real estate agent. She represented the buyer of our house that we put up for sale. We agreed to minor repairs and even pre-paid as a courtesy to her clients, however, did not want to have the repairs addressed until after settlement due to COVID19 concerns. She threatened to sue us. We found out that she never addressed this with with her clients who were perfectly fine with this arrangement. So she withheld details to her clients and caused unnecessary drama. She also would not release our $2,500 deposit associated with the 30 day leaseback both parties agreed to. She claimed that 1 of our outdoor faucets was not working and that we were not entitled to our $2,500 deposit being returned. We explained to her that the faucet was in working order as it was used to open the pool previously and that her clients were present during that specific pool opening. She still refused to release and we had to personally call her clients who told us that they were unaware of our deposit being withheld. Her clients immediately contacted the settlement company and released in full our deposit. This agent has a proven history of not disclosing critical details to her own clients while ruining a business transaction for others. She is an old school real estate agent that believes that the other side of a real estate deal is the enemy. She is what gives real estate agents a bad name. SHE IS UNETHICAL. I strongly urge anyone dealing with her as a seller or a buyer to stay clear!

ZillowVERIFIED Mary and her team are INCREDIBLE to work with! My wife and I were lucky enough to be paired up with Mary through Zillow in the process of buying our first home. We spent endless weekends with Mary driving around looking at houses, she was incredibly patient with us as well as gave us great advice. She sent us great listings that really matched our wants. As first time house purchasers Mary knew all the ins and outs of the process and was able to provide us with great information on the areas that we were shopping in. Mary has extensive experience in the area and told us some pretty cool historical facts as well! When we ended up seeing the home that we purchased, we sent Mary and email around 10PM the day before Valentines Day and she responded in minutes. The next day we toured our (future) home and were incredibly grateful for how quickly Mary and her team worked to get us in to tour the home. Mary can also provide FANTASTIC suggestions for lenders as well as closing companies. Mary (and Joy :)!) are your one stop for everything you need to purchase your first or next home! Another fun fact...Mary makes some of the best BBQ sauce that I have ever tasted, hands down. She wears many talented hats! I would recommend Mary to anyone and everyone who is buying or selling property!

ZillowVERIFIED Mary Sleeter was a pleasure to work with, she was very supportive through the stressful process of selling our home. She kept us updated on where things stood throughout the process and was very knowledgable. She also helped us to locate a rental that would accept a large dog. She was not only our realtor but I consider her a friend! I highly recommend Mary, John and Joy

ZillowVERIFIED Mary was the listing agent on the house we bought last year. From our first call she was very responsive and quite accommodating. She provided accurate information. Mary was representing multiple out of town sellers and quickly managed our offer and moved the process to a prompt settlement.

ZillowVERIFIED Mary Sleeter knows and appreciates the housing market in Loudoun County, for the buyer and for the seller. We purchased our home in Round Hill, Virginia through Mary Sleeter, and sixteen years later when it was time to sell, Mary remained the best option. She's honest, reliable, and is connected with other realtors to open and close the sale successfully with her family-run business.

ZillowVERIFIED We've bought and sold with Mary twice now. Her local knowledge is unparalleled as is her understanding of the buying and selling process. Mary has seen our kids grow up. This last home purchase is hopefully our last. We were looking for something very specific in Loudoun County- a property type that is not common in this area and at a certain price point and location. She spent nearly 5 years with us, ever patient, ever encouraging us.

ZillowVERIFIED We have availed ourselves of Mary's positively superb service twice already, helping us to sell our homes in 2002 and 2017. Mary is the best!! Her depth of experience in the Loudoun County VA real estate market is unsurpassed, having lived and worked here her entire career and seen it grow and helped it develop from rural, agricultural farm country to be among the fastest growing and wealthiest counties in the country. Mary's experience is a capstone on her professional, responsive, and superior service guiding her clients in real estate assessment, estimating, pricing, financing, negotiating and being there at every step to not just get the deal done, but to ensure her clients get the best deal over-all; analyzing each offer and being able to discern the risks and potentials associated with each aspect of an offer, not just the bottom line, but each offer's subtle nuances that only an experienced agent like Mary would pick up on... Mary is patient, responsive, informative, friendly, considerate - the consummate professional - and a friend we would recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell (or rent) property in Loudoun County

ZillowVERIFIED I feel that Ms. Sleeter conducts herself in a highly professional manor. This is the second time that I've called on Ms. Sleeter for her professional help. My first time was when I purchased a home and condominium in Leesburg. I would highly recommend Ms. Sleeter to anyone either purchasing property or buying property in Virginia.

ZillowVERIFIED Mary took the time to explain all of the ins-and-outs of selling a condo. She listed my property at a reasonable price and as a result it sold in a matter of weeks. John Sleeter took incredible photos of my condo and the amenities in the complex and posted them on the internet. I am sure the photos also helped sell my unit. The whole experience was pleasant because of the friendly way I was treated by everyone involved.

ZillowVERIFIED Mary Sleeter has helped me purchase and sell several homes through the years. She is very knowledgeable but more importantly she has understood and supported my individual needs and desires through the years. She helps you find the right home, not just a house. It is more important to her that the client's needs are met than making a sale. She is also a very gentle, kind, caring and genuine person. John and the rest of her team have always been very helpful and supportive. I have had experience with several other realtors but once I met and worked with Mary I knew I found someone special to help me with the extremely important process of buying and selling my homes.
