I am so glad that I chose a real human being rather than an on line service because she brought a raft of local knowledge that help me position my house to above average. Average is what the on-line bots will get you. My part was a slow processes of finishing abandon projects, getting distracted by family matters, and a large number of distractions. Mary was patient and understanding. She never pushed but she was always ready with a recommendation or suggestion that helped me decide which projects were worth the investment and which wouldnt matter. When I was finally able to focus, Mary and her team kicked into high gear and provided all the details I didnt even know I needed to know. She managed all the details. In my case, I had to leave town during the final stages of actually listing and selling. Mary regularly went by the house to keep it presentable and kept me informed along the way. Her local knowledge help me set the price and she was able to defend it with appraisers. In the end, the house sold above asking price even as the market was softening. Choosing Mary Schroth as my real estate agent was one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

We met at an open house and I had just started my search by trying to get a feel for neighborhoods and she gave me several suggestions to help me define my search. My first impression, I want her to help me buy my house. We kept in touch and she became my Buyers Agent. I couldnt have asked for anyone more dedicated to ensuring that I got the best home I was buying. Mary is a great communicator keeping in contact with you through all the numerous steps required during the process. She kept the process on track for the home inspection and worked with me to have the owner make certain repairs. She also worked to get the owner to provide county building permits for certain improvements so I knew that improvements & additions had been built to code. She was invaluable as we worked through several water tests (my home has a well & septic system), and she made countless calls and emails to water testing companies, and local experts about the water testing and what the results meant. In the end, the sellers installed a new water system (pump, softener, neutralizer, UV light) for me. She was 100% vested in my purchase and for that I am extremely grateful! I could not have selected a better agent and am thankful that a chance meeting at an open house connected me to a caring and professional agent.
