1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make sure that the Realtor has your desires as their first priority and commission is not why they become a Realtor. Make sure that the Realtor is accessible at all times by text, phone or email. This is a big investment in your life. 100% is not enough. Every day my strive is 150%. I believe in bringing customer service back to the Real Estate market.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Go to Realtor.com... tap on find Realtors. Look at the Realtors Review and see what previous clients said or if they even wrote a review on them. Make sure that the Realtor has your desires first priority and really listens to you. The process and steps of selling your home should be explained to you and all of your questions should be answered. The Realtor should do an market analysis and ensure that you have enough money to pay your house off and extra for necessities. This will require them to do a spreadsheet and understand Math to come up with the estimate for the seller proceeds after all the fees are deducted. All seller's need to know ahead of time how much money that they will pocket after the sale of their home. :)
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Military, Veterans, African Americans, White Americans, Asian, Latinos, Mexicans, American
Indian, India, and many Spanish speaking clients. I do not have a race barrier. People are People. Having the background of being a Section Chief over Military and Civilians, I know how to meet clients where they are and get them what they are looking for. I love people; in general; Rich, poor, and all races. Even the meanest person that you run into in life has some good some where inside. :)
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
In March 2022, I was referred a client from another agent to sell his home. I never met the client in person until closing day. This is what he posted on Realtor.com: Arthur White – 4 May 2022. Have you ever had a good time selling your home with the Realtor? More than likely that answer is no. Mary Jordan was referred to me by another Realtor. That in itself should tell you that another Realtor highly respects her. She didn’t give me an opportunity to stress. She kept it fun and Boom got my home sold. She never missed a beat. She was accessible at any time that I reached out to her. She appeared really nice and calm. She warned me in the beginning that there was another side when it came time to fight for her clients. Well…I met Ms. Pit Bull and she was right on time. When she says she doesn't sleep until she gets all of your documents in place, you better believe she is working miracles on the back end for your behalf. She remains positive throughout the process. Mrs. Mary will take care of you until you sign on the dotted line at closing. You will never meet a realtor like her. She’s professional, honest, respectful, knowledgeable, and positive. Trust me, seeing is believing.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I'm a retired 35+ years Accountant. I've always had love for people. Being an Accountant I'd became a paper pusher. So when I retired...I had a calling on my life to Bless people in Real Estate. No, I do not do this for commission. You get paid for a service. I do it because it Blessed me to see that my clients get a home or sell their home. That's my payment. What I do with my commission money is I give to organizations that provide food, shelter and medical for those that are less fortunate. I often by groceries for people in the grocery store when they can't pay for it. I do many things to give back to the community and to Bless our wonderful country with what we have been blessed with. I believe in paying it forward. There's more but I think that I've said enough. :)
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a MBA and an Accounting Degree. I'm a Military Relocation Specialist and a Accountant. I move people from overseas, all over the country, and get them homes in different states. I love what I do and I enjoy every moment of it. :)
