The real estate market was hot and I was worried no one would want to take on selling a condo on the lower end of the commission spectrum, but Mary Ann treated me like any other client. I was moving to Sacramento for work and would be living out of the area once the condo went on the market, so I needed someone I could trust. Mary Ann brought in a stager and we were off! A month or so in, around Christmas, I fell in love with a home and needed to close on my condo within weeks. Mary Ann jumped into overdrive and made it happen during the typical holiday slowdown for home sales. She took a stressful situation and produced an outcome I needed. My condo sold in 2.5 months for over asking price. Mary Ann found creative ways to get offers in and kept me constantly updated. We had a minor buyer-inflicted issue as we neared closing, and Mary Ann sensed my frustration; she looked me in the eyes and said "Stay here. I'll take care of it." Mary Ann puts the client first and is very transparent. She molds her approach to the client, instead of expecting the client to adjust to her program. Our offer has been accepted but we gave the sellers a two month rent back and Mary Ann is still communicating with the sellers till we ultimately move into our house this month. That's her doing something more than what's normally expected out of her or any agent for that matter. Doesn't that say something great about her already.Besides, she's professional, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the things expected out of a realtor. She's attentive and gave us her time everytime we needed her to show us a property. We would always email and ask her our questions and she would promptly reply back to us no matter how insane the queston was. She helped us decide on the offer price for the property that we put our first offer on and were extremely lucky to get that offer accepted too. She negotiated quite well with the seller's agent and managed to even save us some bucks in the process.She managed the entire offer and inspection process on her own while we were on our vacation. Also, she recommended a few contractors and appliance shops which gave us a good start with our remodeling.I'm sure there's lot more that she's done for us that I'm missing on mentioning here, but you get the gist. She raised her kids in the area and we really valued her opinions and personal experience as well as her extensive professional experience. Mary Ann was always willing to be flexible with our schedules and spent many evenings and weekends showing us houses, often times rearranging her own personal schedule. We spent around 4 months, and we must have seen over 100 houses, putting offers in on 3 others (and coming in 2nd 3 times) before getting our house (that we love!). We never felt pressured in any way and she always remained upbeat and positive during the process, even when we got discouraged. Her customer service was always top notch and she was always very responsive to emails, phone calls and texts... and I called her a lot!I really liked the Comparative Market Analyses that she and her team put together for houses that we were interested in. As an engineer, I liked to see all of the comps and sale vs. asking prices etc. and the last page was always a suggested price range. She has strong negotiation skills and I always felt like she had our best interests in mind. We were very happy with the price that we paid for our house.Lastly, the relationship didn't stop once we moved into our house. She has a number of great contacts from movers to contractors to appliance repair technicians etc. We had a couple of issues with repairs/home warranty and she really went out of her way to make sure that we were taken care of. It's no wonder that she has so many happy and satisfied repeat clients!
