I think there are two key factors that make someone great at what they do. The first is their personality. Martina is positive, honest, creative, personable, funny, and genuinely embraces the concet that the sale or purchase of a house is a huge and personal decision for the client. Martina was able to put herself in our shoes and help us make decisions because she understood us and our situation. She shared our excitement and anxiety over this huge step in our lives. Martina was more than our realtor, she became our advisor and friend. Our relationship with Martina far surpasses any other professional relationship we have ever experienced. The second factor is competence. Martina brought a thorough and well-thought-out plan to sell our house. She had the hard facts, such as the number of houses on the market, average sales price, comparable houses, recent activity, and things we had not even thought about. She explained everything she would be doing, what we needed to do, and gave us the facts to make our own decisions. When she DID recommend something, she detailed why she recommended the action and what we could expect. As of February 2022, the housing market is crazy and fast moving. We did not have to wait for Martina on anything. She was quick to answer our questions and if we needed something done, she took care of it immediately. Those are the things that make someone good at what they do. The "proof is in the pudding". The results speak for themselves. Martina and her videographer created a compelling video, she had an enticing flyer, and - although we were not there - I am sure she was a positive and charming host when people came for showings and the open house. Here are some hard numbers that illustrate how successful our sale was thanks to Martina: 52 Showings over two and a half days. 50 Visitors at the Sunday Open House. 22 Offers. Offer accepted for 13.5% above asking price... and it was not the highest offer! The highest price yet for a house in our neighborhood and we are not an end unit or other special unit. As I said. Martina is the best. I only wish we had another house to sell! Thank you, Martina, you are the best!

Once our house posted we received multiple offers. She managed to sell our house in less than 2 weeks by aggressively marketing our home and also hosting open houses. She was instrumental in negotiating with the buyer's agent by getting us the selling price we needed. She was able to negotiate a 30 day $0 dollar rent back for us too! She met with us a number of times to get our home ready for market. We followed all of her recommendations to make our house more appealing to potential home buyers. As a result, we had an offer for the full asking price while our house was in the "coming soon" phase. We ended with six offers for the full or above asking price after the open house. Martina also helped us find a house that met our family's needs. She sent us pictures of area houses that met our basic parameters daily. She'd immediately take us to walk through any house we expressed an interest in. We did eventually make an offer on a much larger home that was accepted. Even then it was important to Martina that we did in fact find a perfect fit and we weren't just settling. Buying and selling a home is a difficult process. Martina definitely makes it much less stressful.

She knocked on my door one December day to inquire if I might be interested in selling soon and I was actually planning to put my house on the market the next summer. She used inventive selling strategies, some that I had never imagined, but believe me they worked.
