Mark Tyler

Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Get fully pre-approved early and understand your true monthly comfort level—not just the purchase price. Pay close attention to condition, location, and resale potential, and be prepared to act decisively when the right home comes up. Strong guidance and local market knowledge can make the difference between winning and missing out.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Price strategically from day one and focus on presentation. Homes that are properly priced and professionally marketed generate more interest, stronger offers, and smoother transactions. Small improvements and professional photos can have a major impact on value and buyer perception.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I’ve worked with first-time buyers, move-up sellers, downsizers, investors, estates, and relocation clients. Many of my clients value clear communication, data-driven advice, and a straightforward process—especially when navigating important financial decisions.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

One transaction that stands out involved a seller who needed strong results without unnecessary stress. We priced the home strategically, used professional photography and a 3D tour, and attracted multiple qualified buyers early. The property sold quickly with favorable terms, and the seller felt informed and confident throughout the process.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I got into real estate with a strong interest in market data, negotiation, and helping people make smart long-term decisions. Over time, I developed a listing-focused, results-driven approach centered on preparation, transparency, and execution.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Yes. I combine formal real estate training with ongoing education in pricing strategy, market analysis, negotiation, and digital marketing. This allows me to offer clients a modern, informed approach that’s grounded in local market knowledge and real-world experience.

Mark was phenomenal. He spent over a year helping us find a good home for our family. He is remarkably patient, generous, honest, capable, and above all...helpful. He was never concerned with simply making a sale...his focus was finding a good fit for us. Whenever we had a question, or wanted to see a property, Mark was always able to help us. We just closed on a home we love, and were able to afford, thanks in no small part to his tireless efforts. We highly recommend Mark.

Mark went above and beyond to help us sell our home and purchase a new one. He helped us find better deals with banks, attorneys and homeowners and he got nothing from that. He?s very laid back and get it done kind of guy- exactly what my family needed... stress free working with Mark!!

Just wanted to share my realtor experience, because I?m super grateful that we found him. We tried to sale our Altoona house forever, we had a bad experience with a very popular realty company. After that, I did some research and found the best realtor in the world. Lol it?s true ... Mark Tyler with Perry Wellington rocks! He went above and beyond helping my family sale, locate the appropriate people to get our house sold in a quick amount of time, and find the best house to purchase to suit our family needs. He really was like a personal assistant. He returned every single call and text, he called people for me because I didn?t feel like it... that?s rare these days, and basically the world needs more Marks!

We Just bought a house. Mark worked with us for over 4 months showed us multi-houses. He went out of his way to show us houses when it was convenient for us. He is a very low-pressure salesman. Mark listened to what we were looking and notified us when the property came up for sale he thought we would like. Mark was a joy to work with and would give him a 10 stars if I could

Mark did a great job for us! I would definitely use him again. He was very fast and efficient in getting the property on the market, handling negotiations, contracts, and getting it closed. He kept us in the loop all along the way. Highly recommended!
