ZillowVERIFIED Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed in my dealings with Mariesa and the way she handled the transaction as the buying agent for the home I purchased. It was brought to Mariesas attention after we signed the contract that there was a potential of a special assessment for the home that I was purchasing, but she and her broker claim that they didnt have to tell me once the contract was signed. The assessment will be for around $12,000 so its not small. Should she have disclosed it, in my opinion, yes, that would have been the right thing to do as I believe it qualifies as a aEURoematerial defect.aEUR? Mariesa has stated that aEURoeit wasnt in writingaEUR? although the president of our HOA sent her several texts which he forwarded to me. If youd like to see the texts, I can forward them to you. So, seller/buyer beware, I question the honesty and integrity of Mariesa. If youd like the name of an amazing realtor that I used as my buying and listing agent, Id be happy to share that with you.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I decided to buy a house in a very short time frame (less than 3 months), in an incredibly competitive market, over the holidays, during a pandemic, on a strict budget, with a baby and a toddler. It was stressful (to say the least) and we werent entirely sure it was even possible. Mariesa was there with us every step of the way. She was amazing! She worked with the budget we had to create the most competitive offer we could make. Our very first offer was accepted - less than a week after we started looking. Sadly, after the inspection turn up a leaking roof and a deck that was beyond repair we had to walk away. Mariesa assured us that we would find something better and we did. It wasnt easy though. We looked at every house in our area and price range that went on the market. Mariesa was quick to get us in to see houses and was incredibly helpful at pointing out the pros and cons of each property we looked at. She noticed things I never would have thought to look for and helped us identify what was cosmetic and what was more serious. We ended up making an offer almost every weekend. One weekend we even offered on two different houses! Mariesa helped us craft each offer so that it was the best we could make. Unfortunately, with the market being as competitive as it is right now, we kept getting out-bid. Mariesa wrote seven offers for us. Each offer was crafted to appeal to exactly what the seller wanted and with every offer Mariesa walked us through what to expect and what options we had. She was amazing at communicating about what was going on! Each time we submitted an offer she would text and let us know that she had contacted the selling agent and what (if anything) they had told her. It was always a relief to know that she was checking in on our behalf! We hope to stay in our new home for several years at least, but when we do decide to move, we will definitely contact Mariesa first!

Mariesa paid close attention to detail in the houses that we toured and was honest about the updates that would be needed over time. She made sure that we were comfortable in making an offer and was never pushy. If she was unavailable to show us a house, she found a coworker to help us. She made sure that we understood all the documents that we were signing and guided us with her expertise to make a strong offer. She recommended a great home inspector and moving company. She provided encouragement, was personable, had a positive attitude, and worked very hard to find the perfect place for us to call home. Her highest priority was for us to find a home that we loved and she succeeded in finding it in our dream location.

ZillowVERIFIED Mariesa was an incredible agent, and we couldn't be happier. We enlisted her to sell our home and buy a new one. Our old home needed some renovations but because we were selling we didn't want to put a whole lot in. Mariesa thoughtfully went through all the options on what she thought could get us our $ back, or what would help us sell quickly. She project managed all the contractor work (floors, painting, landscaping, windows) and kept us on task for deadlines. Her marketing, photographs, videography and staging were a level above! After one open house weekend we had several offers, but she made sure to reach out to EVERYONE that came to the house to get feedback. For our new house, she had no problem looking in a wide geographic area because we weren't sure where we wanted to be. We found a perfect house and she is open to us asking about her contractor/vendor referals since all the ones we have used through her have been excellent. Highly recommend - she works very hard and it has paid off!
