ZillowVERIFIED Thankful to have been set up with Marcus as our Agent ! We are first time homeowners so we did not know much about the process. He took the extra time to explain each part of the process from viewings to closing day! I think it is very important to have an agent that listens. He was not pushy about where and when we should buy. He met us exactly where our mindsets were and offered advice and information about neighborhoods and school districts. Marcus Payne allowed us to control our own journey even if it was to view a house we were curious about but uncertain on buying. When we weren?t sure about a house he was always able to schedule a viewing someplace else of a house that was more tailored to our family. Talk to your agent. Marcus quickly realized we were looking for a house with enough indoor living space and plenty more outdoor living. Each house we visited was a step up from the last. Good news and paperwork was always timely! I know paperwork tends to get bottlenecked but we did not have this problem at all. Even the process of getting mpr waivers for the VA loan did not slow us down. I?m really excited for my family. We are a military family so it is ALWAYS nice to settle into a welcoming neighborhood quickly! Our closing day happened in about 35 days from the viewing date and we purchased with a VA loan. Our team was great. I appreciate the lenders, Marcus, and even the sellers. It takes a great team to close quickly and STILL be 100% happy. Please get a realtor that listens intently to the needs of you/your family. It makes a difference in the homes you are shown.
