ZillowVERIFIEDI was referred to Marci by another realtor in her group, and Im very glad I had the opportunity to work with her. I was looking for a condo in a specific neighborhood and it ended up taking many months to find the right one for me, but she was always highly responsive to my texts and emails and very positive throughout the whole process. When I did find the right place, and I put in an asking-price bid, she had the lender contact the selling agent, and we think that detail made a big difference in my offer being accepted. Marci has good relationships with the other professionals I enjoyed working with in this process, such as the lender and home inspector, and she has given me great recommendations for a painter, electrician, plumber, etc.

ZillowVERIFIED Marci is a calm and confident agent who sheparded us through our first home buying process. It took a few offers on various houses, but in the end we got exactly the house we asked for, in our desired neighborhood, and original budget (which says a lot in this market). We also felt comfortable with all of her recommendations for the lender, inspector and title company. Everyone was responsive and professional and we had a smooth closing.

ZillowVERIFIED The market has been crazy and we were on the verge of giving up because of the extreme competition and losing several offers. But Marci stayed calm and encouraged us to keep going, and we got a solid house in the end. She scheduled us quickly for every viewing and knows the neighborhoods well.

ZillowVERIFIED Marci is a great agent! She is kind, understanding, extremely helpful, and will listen to your needs. As first time homebuyers, she was a fountain of knowledge about the current state of the market, local neighborhoods, what to look for when purchasing a home, the home buying process, inspections, negotiation strategies, etc. Especially during this current crazy market, she came through with her exceptional negotiation skills and helped us win the house we loved. She helped us during every single step of the way and I highly recommend her!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED My selling experience with Marci Wasserman exceeded my expectations. Her knowledge; experience; and personal empathy made everything seem effortless. She always had time for even my most trivial questions - and I know shes busy. She explained every step thoroughly and sent out helpful reminders. When I got nervous, she was able to steady me with her calmness and natural good nature. Even in this era of Covid, closing went very smoothly. I cant believe it only took 4 weeks from listing to final settlement!

ZillowVERIFIED Marci was fantastic! She is not your typical pushy agent. She is all about finding the right house for you and taking all the time needed to do it. We felt like we were her only clients because she was so responsive and available for viewings. That wasnt the case, of course, but goes to show how much work she puts in to be available around a clients schedule. She recommended great service providers for things like the home inspection and has a lot of local knowledge. If you want an agent who isnt trying to sell you a house but is instead working with you to find just the right home, Marci is your gal. Patience is a virtue and she has it in spades!

ZillowVERIFIED This was the first time selling a house and Marci was an incredible help. There was a huge amount of initial paperwork that she patiently walked me through. She let me know just what I needed to do to get the house ready (and what was NOT necessary!), then referred me to excellent, reasonably priced craftsmen to do the work.Marci was always immediately responsive if I had a question or concern and guided me as to the right time to put the house on the market. The house was empty and Marci had it staged absolutely beautifully. Her marketing efforts were so good that people lined up an hour ahead of time for the open house. We got 10 offers and the sale price was far beyond my wildest expectations. Working with Marci also far exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend her more highly!

ZillowVERIFIED I came to the DMV area as a Chicago native, and as you can expect, completely BLOWN away by real estate costs here. I was also originally given a recommendation with a realtor that didn t work out. Marci, reached out to me from an online search I did early on and backed off when i said I had another realtor. Once I realized the original realtor was not going to be contacting back I reached back out to Marci. She got my search moving in record time and after seeing what the market held, helped me land in a house I know me and my family will love. She was responsive and flexible during the whole process. And as a first time home owner, I appreciate her bedside manner and quick nature.

ZillowVERIFIED This was a great experience. Ms. Wasserman is very professional, easy to work with, and keeps her commitments. She explained her approach, took time to hear out my concerns and talked this first-time house seller through the paperwork and negotiations. She kept me up-to-date on each step and worked with the buyers to smooth out a few hiccups before closing. The most difficult part was deciding on an asking price for a quick low-anxiety sale. Due to Marcis confidence and expertise I got what I wanted, and maybe a bit more.

ZillowVERIFIED I cant say enough good things about working with Marci to buy a house! Marci was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. In a tight real estate market, Marci was able to spot houses that offered great value, and her insights were tremendously valuable through the purchasing process. We thought through different options, including buying and renovating, and Marci brought in local architects and builders to advise us on costs and feasibility. When we finally found our dream house, Marci handled inspections, negotiations, and closing without a hitch -- all the more impressive since we were overseas and she was our person on the ground, staying in close touch via calls, video, and emails. Marci went far beyond the call of duty for us, and we would highly recommend her.

ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed three realtors prior to selling our home. Marcis straightforward, honest assessment of our house and clear explanation of the selling process made it evident that she was the agent for us. Throughout the process she kept us informed of what we needed to do to prepare the house to show and if necessary, whom to contact to assist. (Who knew that professionally cleaned windows makes a world of difference? Marci does!) Rather than setting a price, Marci advised us of all the factors to consider before we settled on a price collectively. She knows the neighborhood and she knows the resources available to get things done. We put our faith in Marci and she delivered 100 percent.

ZillowVERIFIED We highly recommend Marci. She was incredibly responsive and helpful, and made the home buying process as easy as it could be. And beyond the home buying experience itself, she also had great contacts for contractors for every kind of work we needed to do on our new home before we moved in.

ZillowVERIFIED I met Marci when I looked at a condo and she was genuine from the beginning. Marci helped me buy one house in 2017 and sell another one in 2017-2018. She knows the most about Takoma Park MD and Takoma DC. She was utterly resourceful, patient and extremely knowledgeable every step of the way. I highly recommend her!

ZillowVERIFIED Marci was very responsive to our requests to see various properties and quickly followed up anything we were interested in. She picked up on several things that we had missed, and made sure that problems that might have arisen after closing (like picking up of trash left by previous owners) were sorted beforehand.

ZillowVERIFIED Marci was very knowledgeable about the market and had a lot of advice to help us strategize our offers. She explained the home buying process clearly and patiently. She was also instrumental in helping our offer get accepted, negotiating with the sellers agent and walking us through important strategic deadlines that had to be made very quickly. Marci was also friendly and fun to get to know, and we enjoyed the time we spent looking at houses with her.

ZillowVERIFIED We really enjoyed working with Marci to purchase our first home. She knew a lot about the neighborhoods we were looking in and was a pleasure to work with. She helped us understand the process of buying a home for the first time and was knowledgeable and friendly every step of the way. She even went above and beyond after we moved in to help contact the city and make sure our house had all the right trash cans. We are excited that we get to now call her a neighbor!
