ZillowVERIFIEDMackay is very knowledgeable about St Simons having grown up in the area. He consistently responded to all communication immediately which was very important to us. Mackay went above and beyond by checking our property weekly or more, after a storm, and before buyers came for a showing. We live out of town so this was especially helpful. After receiving an offer, Mackay helped with the negotiations and successfully worked with us and the buyers agent. He is punctual and always very pleasant. I highly recommend Mackay.

ZillowVERIFIED Mackay was awesome to work with. His local knowledge of the area made our decision so much easier when it came to buying our home. Being new to the area we had a lot of questions about different properties and neighborhoods and Mackay was able to give us the insider scoop since he also lives in the area. His ability to negotiate with the sellers on our behalf to find the perfect deal for both parties was paramount in us being able to close on the home we wanted.

ZillowVERIFIED Mackay was a wonderful partner in our house buying process. We have nothing but good things to say about him. His local knowledge of coastal Georgia is vast, having lived here his entire life, and his commitment to helping us find the perfect home was fantastic. In this market that can be so tough for buyers, he made things easy. In this time where the seller has all the advantages, he won negotiations on our behalf. And he was never more than a half hour away from meeting us in person to view a home or discuss our options. This is particularly notable given the scale of some of his clients, as compared to us. We felt as important to Mackay as the multi-million dollar listing down the street. We will absolutely use him for our future real estate needs in the area, and we are grateful that our friends recommended him to us.

ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend working with Mackay Cate for your real estate needs in the Golden Isles. I've know Mackay the better part of my life. This is the first time I've worked with him professionally and I can't wait to do it again. He knows St. Simons better than most and has family ties that run back multiple generations. He knows the market well and uses his business expertise to place you in the best home to meet your needs. We closed on this specific investment property sight unseen which should tell you how much trust we have in Mackay and the amazing team of professional he's connected us to on the island. He made what could be a stressful experience virtually stress free. I can't wait to find our next investment property with him!

ZillowVERIFIED Mackay was an exceptional realtor representing us in the listing and selling of our 2 unit condo building on St. Simons Island in Georgia. He guided us through the process, was always available to help and went above and beyond what we were expecting. I would highly recommend him and we will be using him to find our "forever home" on the island.

ZillowVERIFIED I would highly recommend Mackay to anyone buying or selling in the Golden Isles. As a native, his knowledge of the area is unparalleled. Being somewhat unfamiliar with the residential possibilities, we were very indecisive about where in Glenn County we wanted to call home. Mackay showed us several houses/communities throughout the county and helped us narrow our search. In the end, we found the perfect home, in our favorite neighborhood. Mackay walked us through every step of the purchasing process and offered great advice along the way. I couldn't imagine an agent being more helpful.

ZillowVERIFIED Mackay Cate came from a referral of a friend who is a Realtor in Blue Ridge, GA. This was to be a second home on St.Simons Island. Mackay and I met last summer and I gave him a list of aEURoewantsaEUR? that were quite specific and an even longer list of aEURoedont wantsaEUR?. He was aware that we had no timeline and when the right one became available, he would know it. And he DID! This is our dream place and although we have only been residents for one week, we know in our bones, that this is absolutely it. Due to the fact that Mackay has 5 or 6 generations here, was born and raised here, he knows places and people that only a local would know. Our home was never even listed. But he found it for us through connections. He has given us a list of good quality service individuals and companies and I know he will continue to be there for us as things arise in the future years. If you need an agent, look no further than Mackay Cate of Ansley.

ZillowVERIFIED From hour one with Mackay, I knew that when a new listing went on the market that fit my criteria, he would contact me and arrange a showing as the first to see. This gave me such a feeling of security, knowing that I had an advantage over other buyers. Mackay is the most conscientious, hard working and connected realtor Ive ever worked with. Once I was under contract, he stayed on top of each issue, patiently and professionally working through even the smallest details and/or questions that I had. His network of colleagues are equally as professional as he is. I highly recommend Mackay Cate!

ZillowVERIFIED THANK YOU SOOOOOOO much Mackay for all your hard work and diligence. We had the best experience with Ansley Real Estate. Mackay was outstanding and helped us find the perfect home. After we were under contract, Mackay provided excellent service by answering many questions and by making sure we were ready for closing. Communication was superb and we closed on time. I would not hesitate to use Ansley Real Estate for my next home purchase. Thank you, Jody and Lisa

ZillowVERIFIED Mackay was more than knowledgeable about the area and what was available. After Mackay asked me what I was looking for and getting to know a little more about me he presented me with a number of listings and explained why. We narrowed them down and he began to help me in my way. Extremely upfront about everything and persistent with the sellers on getting to where we were both happy. I am extremely happy with what Mackay has helped me find. I will recommend Mackay to anyone looking to buy or sell.

ZillowVERIFIED I am so grateful that I had Mackay as my realtor! He is a wonderful person to work with, and he always went above and beyond the call of duty. I could always get in touch with him day or night, and he even took time on a weekend to show us a house. Because his roots are in the Golden Isles, I dont think that you could get a realtor with more knowledge of the area. Mackay listened to all of our ideas, and he was able to find us our dream home in the perfect location. He really cares about the well-being of his clients. He started out as my realtor, but he has now become a good friend. I would definitely recommend him to all of my family and friends!!
