ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Lynn Brosnahan to find and purchase a house in spring 2017. We were relocating to Rhode Island and needed a local relator. We chose Lynn because she had the Military Relocation Professional credential (we intended to utilize the VA home loan program), she seemed to operate in a fairly wide area (for RI), and she had good reviews on Zillow.We were first time homebuyers on a fairly tight schedule who were relocating to an area with a fast-moving market. Not an ideal situation. But Lynn made it happen for us, guiding us through the process with assurance.Lynn was flexible and accommodating. She was able to clear a whole weekend to show us properties from Woonsocket to South Kingston. She set up showings for two properties wed found online that she didnt necessarily think were the best options for us, but that we really felt like we needed to see to decide for ourselves. She also arranged for colleagues to take us to two additional properties on the morning we were leaving (when she had preexisting appointments).She listened to our wants and needs and did not show us properties that we wouldnt actually consider buying (staying both within our price range and off our we-definitely-dont-want-x list). Lynn provided input on properties, but was never pushy. Her focus always seemed to be on us and our needs and she proved to be a calming presence through the days back-to-back showings.Lynns knowledge and experience was particularly helpful during the offer process. She saved us money by encouraging us to go in with a lower starting offer that we would have otherwise.

She is by far one of the nicest and most professional persons that I have every had the pleasure of working with. First, she is very knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate dealings. Her professionalism is impeccable. She was the only person to be interested in selling my house during the most difficult of times back in 2014 during the real estate crisis. After renting the house for two years she approached me again when the real estate market improved. She systematically went through a process to sell our house based upon posting the optimum pricing and our time schedule. With Lynn's input, we prepared to list the house, and she really took care of the rest. She helped us set our asking price effectively, and we ended up getting a little bit more than we expected. She stayed on top of the whole process, and made everything easy. She's officially 2 for 2 in our book, and if we end up buying in Rhode Island again, we'll go for the hat trick. Here's my original review from 2014, which my wife and I still stand by:We were/are first-time homebuyers, and Lynn Brosnahan was referred to us by our loan officer. From our very first meeting, Lynn was both extremely receptive to our wants, and knowledgeable about the myriad options available to us. Rather than just showing us a narrow list of choices, Lynn was creative and thoughtful in finding and presenting a range of options that really gave us an education on our options. Her guidance was extremely helpful, and never overbearing or pressuring.On scheduling, Lynn was flexible, and helped us squeeze meetings and showings in tight windows. On showings, she helped us ask smart questions and take notice of various details throughout the houses to help us assess their true condition. On the house we ended up buying, we spotted it the day it was listed thanks to her daily email updates, and were able to be the first (and we think the only) buyers to see it before we put in an offer. Had she not accommodated our requests so quickly, it is very possible we could have lost the house, or been run up against other interested buyers. We interacted regularly through email and texts as well as phone calls, and Lynn is quick to respond to messages at all hours. Throughout the process, Lynn clearly wanted to help us not only find the perfect home for our needs and budget, but also to help us decide what we really wanted and needed out of a perfect home. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we have Lynn to thank for our success!
