ZillowVERIFIED Im completely baffled by Lyns great reviews. Ive sold 3 houses in 3 years and Lyn was, without a doubt, the weakest agent Ive had by a long shot. He definitely was one of the get the listing and then pray type agents. He brought no local knowledge or expertise to the table. We discussed pricing the listing and all he could do was nod and agree. I didnt hire somebody to nod and agree with me. I hired him to SELL the house! I told him this CLEARLY and DIRECTLY in our early conversations. After taking the listing agreement, Lyn basically vanished. Following up with him, he kept saying maybe something will happen. Give it time. I asked him about an open house. He had no interest. As time went up, I pushed him harder and he replied with, Well it was YOUR idea to list if for that price, not mine! I told him if that was true, then what had been HIS idea for the listing price? Of course, he had been absolutely useless and hadnt come up with anything when we discussed pricing. I dont live in West Palm Beach. He does. And he sells REAL ESTATE. He ought to have had SOME ideas. So, in response, he came back with a sarcastically low price (I know this because it was well below what the house actually sold for) and said hed be happy to just sell it for that. So I was stuck with a listing agreement with Lyn whos only options to me were for him to do nothing and sell it at such a low price that it would move in a day, or for him to do nothing and wait for a miracle. When we finally got a reasonable offer, Lyn again vanished. I had to hunt him down regularly. When he would re-appear, it was to offer unhelpful, out of the loop, communications. Like when he told me he was going to tell the buyer that wed just pay for the condo association documents; not realizing that while he was AWOL, Id already gotten them and sent them to the buyers agent. Lyn always seemed to be behind by a week. Then had the audacity to ask me for a 5 star review. Youve got to be kidding, Lyn. As I mentioned, Ive bought and sold quite a few houses in different parts of the country. I know what I should expect from an agent. He was nowhere near the competence of any other agent Ive ever used. Id use caution before signing a listing agreement with this agent.

While searching for just the right house, he would not attempt to influence us, yet he would at least offer some things for us to think about.
