Always available whenever we called and answered our 'naive' questions regarding any house subject, be it roofing, floors, windows, electrical etc. he was unbiased and respectful. Quick to point out any issues be it foundational, plumbing, electrical and construction. If anything is outdated he will bring it to your attention and even estimate a replacement cost. The biggest hiccup we faced involved the inspection waiver. While we had planned to waive the inspection contingency, we still chose to perform an inspection for our own peace of mind. This led to unexpected stress and uncertainty around whether the seller would still follow through on fixing the issues we uncovered. Review Working with Nicholas as my realtor to find my first home here in King County was nothing short of amazing. I had no clue what I was getting myself into as a first-time homebuyer, but Nicholas went above and beyond and made the home buying process as smooth as I could possibly imagine. He understood the type of home and area I was searching for, always quickly communicated back to me when I had questions and was just overall so patient with me throughout the whole process. From day 1, Nicholas had already set me up with a lender and had sent me multiple listings to take a look at. There was one condo in Bothell that checked every single one of my boxes, the location, interior, bathroom, kitchen, walk-in closet, everything that I was looking for. Nicholas immediately contacted the sellers agent to get more information and we put an offer in that night, and with Nicholass negotiation skills and communication the seller ended up choosing our offer!! I was very impressed with Nicholass efficiency and professionalism, I could not have been happier when he gave me the news. He has been very supportive throughout this whole process and has maintained that same support after closing. He exceeded all my expectations, I cannot thank him enough for all the documents he helped me go through as that was my least favorite part about the whole process. He helped us over a 2 year home search in a tough housing market - being incredibly generous with his time, and patient in explaining the inner workings of the entire home buying process to us first time home buyers! We probably would still be renting if we hadn't met Alex. He also is incredibly knowledgeable with questions on home repairs, improvements. Despite his wealth of experience, and skill, he was never more than a phone call away often working over the weekends to help us when we needed a consult, or just had some anxiety to vent out! I would highly, undoubtedly, proudly recommend Dylan to anyone looking for a real estate agent in the King, Snohomish, and Pierce County areas in the Evergreen State. This home-buying journey began with a dream of moving back to the greater Seattle area "in the near future" when my daughter started her college student life in Seattle and decided she'd like to live in the area. After casually browsing through real estate listings for a year, one day I decided to send a general inquiry on Trulia, and somehow I was connected with Dylan. We had an introduction kind of zoom meeting. All I knew I wanted then was downsizing to a condo (no more yard work, more affordable than "house") that would accommodate my fur babies, perhaps in the next year. Dylan offered to tentatively schedule an afternoon out for touring that's 1.5 months away when I might take a short trip to Seattle. He was fast to check details about the condos I was curious about, especially the details of pet restrictions; he also shared precautionary info that I wouldn't have obtained from listings. The day before touring, at Dylan's valuable suggestion, we made a quick change of search focus to townhomes and single family homes when all condos failed to be an option for me with my fur babies. Never had I imagined that these homes could have more linient pet policy or even no HOA to deal with, yet be more affordable than condos. In 24hrs, we had a new list of townhomes all verified by Dylan to meet my requirements, and a tour itinerary ready to go that afternoon. He also made the morning the day before my departure from Seattle available to tour more townhomes. Plus, he offered to do video tours for me when I would be on the East Coast. Dylan referred me to a loan officer whom he had good personal experience working with and even recommended to his own parents. He even prayed with me over the phone at the end of our "offer strategy" meeting in pursuit of a townhome we had visited in Federal Way. Fast-forward through the inspection, negotiation, and appraisal process, all of which Dylan skillfully and seamlessly handled while keeping me well informed on an instant basis. Twenty-three (yes, 23!) days after making the offer, I was back in the beautiful PNW for the closing on my dream home in Federal Way! That is merely 3 months after my initial contact with Dylan, not my initially estimated timeframe of 1 year. Insane to me, but oh so cool! Today I'm still pinching myself at times. Thanks to Dylan, my dream of moving from Maryland back to the greater Seattle area is becoming a reality. Not only to my daughter, I'll also be closer to my mom by cutting down 6hrs of flight time over the Pacific. And of course, I'll be happily cuddling with my fur babies. (Now I just need to find Dylan's clone to help me sell the house in MD....)
