ZillowVERIFIED Being successful in the practice of real estate is much more than test. As a Home owner in three states, too many agents passed the test, but failed to understand the business. The business is not just about being nice to your potential buyers or sellers. One has to develop a core area or expertise... something i would call SME subject mater expert. With that stated, Lori Scott, is the SME for Mercer Island. I can stop my review, and it would be enough. But, it certainly does not do Lori the justice she deserves. To truly understand why Lori is great, you have to be an Islander. all Islanders know how to how to make a perfect martini. First, I prefer Vodka over Gin. Knowing your buyers' alcohol is no different than knowing your real estate. Lori knows her customers' "drug of choice" did i say drug... i mean drink of choice. Un-spokenly observing your needs, with just the right amount of attention.

Lori inspected our home and prepared a report that listed recommended repairs, cost estimates and likely list price. Lori also suggested craftsmen to perform the work and was present during the times we weren't available for the work to be done. After the repairs were completed Lori organized the staging of our home and even provided some of her own items for the finishing touches. The home sold the first weekend it was on the market for 6% higher than the list price.
