About Lisa Ritter
With more than 2 decades of experience, I've guided buyers and sellers through every kind of market cycle imaginable. Alongside my husband Dennis, I've personally lived in 10 homes and owned numerous investment properties, including long-term and short-term rentals. That hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of what my clients are really navigating - financially, emotionally, and strategically.
Professionally, I've closed over 1,000 homes and served in top leadership and regulatory roles within the real estate industry. That background allows me to advocate powerfully for both buyers and sellers - from helping buyers compete smartly and confidently, to positioning sellers for maximum exposure, strong offers, and smooth closings.
What truly sets my work apart is how supported my clients feel throughout the process. Buying or selling a home is rarely just a transaction. It's a major life moment. I take time to listen, explain options clearly, and guide decisions with calm confidence so my clients never feel rushed, pressured, or uncertain.
For buyers, that means strategic guidance, honest advice, and strong negotiation to protect their interests and help them secure the right home at the right terms. For sellers, it means precise pricing, thoughtful preparation, proactive marketing, and steady leadership from listing to closing.
My approach is a blend of data-driven strategy and genuine care. I anticipate challenges, communicate consistently, and handle the details so my clients can focus on what's next. Clients often tell me they feel more confident and at ease once we start working together - and that's exactly my goal.
If you're looking for a REALTOR(R) who will advocate fiercely for you, tell you the truth, and guide you with experience and heart, I would be honored to help.

Hi Rebecca. It came seem daunting initially when looking at your home knowing you have a significant amount of work to prepare your home. Have you ever heard the quote- "How do you eat an elephant?- One bite at a time"? That's how you begin decluttering. Start with one room and give yourself a deadline. Asking close family and friends for some help can be another avenue. I do highly recommend reaching out to a Realtor sooner than later because sometimes it's not as bad as you may think. An experienced Realtor will be direct and professional with you about prioritization of tasks. Also, if you decide your move is of an urgent nature, you may be able to skip the decluttering and properly price position your home to account for the decluttering needs. I'd love to be of service in offering a professional opinion for you after viewing your home and listening to your goals.
Sooner than later is highly advised. As others have mentioned, there is liability in having a vacant home. After closing on more than 1,000 homes in my career, I feel like I've seen a lot. Things really can happen when it's not occupied. And if you haven't reported the house as being vacant, it's not guaranteed that if an issue arises that it will be covered. Destin is a hot market this time of year. I own a home in the area and would love to have the opportunity to advise you on best next steps to help get you top dollar in a short amount of time. Let me know if I can be of service.
Light is very attractive to prospective Buyers. Make sure all your curtains are open and the blinds are up and lights are on. Painting your walls of the main area of the home a light color would be a great idea as well. Best wishes with your sale. The work will be worth it to make your real estate dreams a reality!
