About Lindy Patterson

I specialize in new and existing home sales as well as historic renovation projects in Richmond and the surrounding areas. I've resided in Virginia (Chesterfield, Richmond and now Hanover) for over 30 years and I have extensive knowledge of the different area neighborhoods and counties. Now a resident in Hanover county, my family and I enjoy living in Ashland, "The Center of the Universe!" I take the time to understand my clients' unique needs and requirements in buying and selling homes. After graduation from Ohio University, I enjoyed a successful sales career at ADP and launched into software and medical sales prior to beginning my career in real estate. Additionally, I have experience in both commercial and residential real estate: I worked for Porter Realty as a commercial property Realtor prior to my switch to residential sales at Hometown Realty in 2011. Beginning in 2001, I began purchasing and renovating several historical properties in the Richmond area, (where I developed my love for real estate!) I offer valuable knowledge in the areas of purchasing investment properties, historic renovation, renovation financing, historic tax credits and property management. I work with a wide range of clients, from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors and always make my clients' individual needs a priority. In my real estate practice I am known for my honesty, strong work ethic, consistent communication with clients, and effective negotiation skills. Lindy is incredible! We rented one of her homes for around 5 months. The home was perfect. It was very clean, had a home away from home feel and a beautiful and well kept back yard. We enjoyed our stay there so much and would definitely work with her in the future if we are ever back in the area. She was always professional and friendly. We couldnt have asked to work with someone better. Shes truly amazing!

My wife and I were selling and buying simultaneously in extremely tricky market. Lindy helped us with advice on minor updates that helped us get well above asking/appraisal on our listing. We had multiple offers and sold quickly. Buying was slightly more difficult. We had sometimes less than 15 minutes to make a life long decision! We saw many properties and got beat out by all cash offers, over asking with waived inspections. With the clock ticking, and us needing to move, we finally found the perfect home! Lindy guided us into making a well thought out offer, that was accepted immediately. She did all of this while in the middle of a pandemic and while dealing with me being pregnant! She is a saint! Ive never left a review before??. I absolutely want everyone to have the experience that my family had. This woman is top notch. You never have to wonder if she is looking out for you. She is! She puts the relationship and good customer service before the dollar, which is RARE! She sold my house in VA, then worked with another agent on my grandmas estate in WV. We just could not see making a transaction like that without her input. Honest, honest, honest! She will always be my agent, as long as she will have me??. She has become a dear friend??.
