ZillowVERIFIED Chris was very helpful in our home search. He and his mother Linda were a great team and were able to point out possible red flags with a house. Chris has some construction knowledge which helped us when we had certain questions regarding houses we were viewing.

ZillowVERIFIED We recently sold our home in Exeter Pa. and Chris and Linda Strain were our realtors and they truly are aEURoeExeter SpecialistsaEUR? We built and lived in our home for over 20 years and took great pride in our home and wanted a realtor to help us get as much as we could and what it was worth which the Strain Group sure did that and then some. We got the most anyone has ever gotten in our development which is Country Club Run and we couldnt have been happier. If you are looking to sell or buy a home in Exeter or anywhere else in the surrounding counties we strongly recommend using Chris and Linda Strain. They are very professional and knowledgeable and get the job done!!

ZillowVERIFIED Chris and Linda were extremely helpful with the buying process. I am a first time homebuyer and knew absolutely nothing about buying a house. I asked a million questions and not once did they ever get frustrated with me. Chriss background in construction and carpentry showed when we were walking through each house. He would point out imperfections and explain in detail how they may have been caused and how to fix them. I never felt like he was trying to just get a sale from me. He made sure I got the right home and I will definitely use Chris and Linda for any future home purchases in Berks county!!

ZillowVERIFIED Linda and Chris have been absolutely wonderful in helping us with our real estate needs over the years. I bought my first house with their help (which we just sold yesterday), my husband sold his house with them, and we bought our forever home together. Every time they are wonderful listeners as to what we need and extremely responsive to our questions.

ZillowVERIFIED This was my first home buying experience. Chris and Linda were very helpful and honest. They are very knowledgeable about homes and looked for things I didnt know to look for: water marks, where the oil tanks were, structural flaws, any signs of termites or other pests, the radon, flood zones, railroads, street traffic etc. They were always prepared for every property we looked at and they helped me find the perfect home for my family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Chris Strain was my primary realtor and Linda filled in for Chris when time constraints were an issue. I was extremely satisfied with my home buying experience and I believe I found the perfect home. Chris and Linda were respectful, responsive to my requests and professional in every respect. Chris not only showed me the good points of prospective houses on the market, he also advised me what to be wary of and to stay away from. In working with other realtors over the years, I found that they only wanted to talk about the good points of a property but not advise you of the possible drawbacks. Chris did both and I felt he truly had my best interests in mind when looking for a home. I would highly recommend Chris or Linda Strain to any prospective home buyer. Top notch.

ZillowVERIFIED Chris and Linda Strain made the home buying process a great experience for us! Chris is incredibly knowledgeable, and his expertise about the area put us at ease when we viewed listings and visited properties. I knew I could ask any question and Chris would know the answer! I'm a nervous person by nature, but Chris did a great job explaining everything and getting back to us quickly which made me feel very comfortable and confident that we would find our dream home (and we did). I will absolutely recommend Chris and Linda Strain to all of my friends and family!

ZillowVERIFIED I have used Linda & Chris Strain for at least six real estate transactions, either for myself or for properties owned by family members (e.g. parents, in-laws) where I was responsible for handling the transaction. The transactions included (i) the sale of our prior residence, (ii) the sale of two residential investment properties we owned, and (iii) the sale of my mother's residence, my mother-in-law's residence, and my aunt's residnce. In all cases, the transactions proceeded relatively smoothly, even when some unforeseen problems arose. In all instances, Linda and Chris always kept me informed and responded very promptly. In my opinion, their greatest asset is their knoweledge of the local community and school district and their ability to convey this knowledge to a propsective buyer. I am continuing to work with them now, by having them search for a new investment property, and I have recommended them to several other people seeking the services of a realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED When I contacted Linda and Chris, my home had been on the market with another agent for 229 days. During those 229 days, I had 3 individuals come through my home. Those 3 individuals only came through the home due to an open house that was held by the realtor at that time. Because of my personal situation, it was important to get my house sold and get my house sold quickly. Obviously, that wasn't happening. I reached out to Linda and Chris for two reasons. First, I had graduated high school with Chris. I knew he was a good guy. The other reason, and the more important reason, was because of their reputation in Berks County. After speaking with both Linda and Chris, I was so excited to make the change in realtors. From the moment I first spoke with them, they were nothing less than impressive! And they got the job done!!! I listed my property with them on February 6, 2012 and my sale of my home was settled on March 28, 2012. Although I am currently renting, I know that when I'm ready to purchase another home, Linda and Chris will be the first ones that I reach out to! You both are wonderful. It was such a pleasure working with you!

ZillowVERIFIED During the sale of my first home and purchase of my second (current) home, Chris was available whenever I had a question or wanted to look at a potential home. He provided expert advice on not only the process of buying and selling a home, but also shared his experience with home construction, neighborhood dynamics, and school district information. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Berks County, as well as the surrounding area.

ZillowVERIFIED Chris Strain was an amazing realtor from start to finish. He is as down to earth as he is knowledgable and prompt in his attention, especially to first home buyers. Chris was able to lead us out of what would have been a disastrous sale and to a house that truly is our dream house. Chris's knowledge of numerous areas related to home buying is exceptional, and Chris made us feel right at home from the minute we met him. Our most heartfelt thanks to Chris. We have been in our home for one week and walk around wondering how we got THIS lucky. Thank you Chris!
