ZillowVERIFIED Laura helped our family in both selling our old house and buying our new one. She was very supportive and always informing us so we can make decisions confidently. My wife felt immediately at ease with her from the time of our first meeting, and I was impressed at how much she knew about the local market. In our home buying, she foresaw things neither my wife nor I thought of. She went through the towns archives to answer questions regarding easements. It was then that we found out she used to be on the Town Board. It was also her who referred us to our lender and lawyer, both of whom were also knowledgeable in their own professions. We really felt we had the support of the entire Weld team and much, much more. The bigger challenge for us was selling our old house. She brought us help and much-needed manpower to paint our houses interior. She herself staged the house, and the pictures came out immaculate. Laura was very hands on, and constantly checking in on us. Offers came in, as well as some unpleasant surprises during home inspections. While the houses previous owners were able to get away with certain things, we had to make them right before we can sell. Selling was a much more tedious process. But Laura helped us sort through each item on our to do list. We pored over paperwork from the previous sale and hired contractors to address inspection items. This was a very stressful time for our whole family. I had mixed emotions, and mostly negative, but Laura kept us from making impulsive and costly decisions. We finally found another couple who were interested in our house. Thanks to Lauras marketing expertise and strong networking, we secured those buyers and it was smooth sailing from then on until closing day. Buying and selling are both very stressful life events. To me, talking with contractors felt like learning a new language. It definitely helped that Lauras also an experienced real estate investor who flips properties. She explained the scope of the work in simple laymans terms. With the entire family in tow, my wife and I were under a lot of pressure; we were pulling our children from the environment theyre used to, juggling finances and preparing for moving and renovation challenges. We managed to take care of these things because we knew that we have a real estate agent on our side who is genuinely concerned for our family. Were very happy where we are right now. We found a house with good bones, a very good deal, plenty of room for us, and within the same school district! We couldnt have made this transition if it wasnt for Laura. For anybody out there looking for more than just a real estate agent, look no further. Lauras a champion wholl make that move possible!

ZillowVERIFIED Laura was an INCREDIBLE agent! She always answered her phone and replied to emails swiftly. She had an excellent understanding of the local market, and is very marketing savvy! Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Weld Realty stood out as the best Rockland has to offer! We spoke with Laura and then met with her at our home. She spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. Laura made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like having professional photographs taken (stills, aerial, and video), and strategically utilized those assets to market us in all the appropriate media outlets. When we saw our listing we were blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing!. We had four offers the first week our house was on the market, and went into a bidding war! Our house went under contract less than 1 week after we put it on the market and over our asking price! Laura walked us through every step of the closing process. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. We highly recommend Laura, and have recommended her to everyone we know looking for an agent! Shes a true professional and a genuinely nice person that we now consider a friend. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

We give her all the credit for this. It's noteworthy that prior to putting the house on the market for us, she went to the local library and dug up interesting historical information about it--unbeknownst to us a famous artist once lived there. She created a beautiful brochure to market it. She got us mentioned in a local magazine. She even hired a spiritual medium to clear out "spirits" that might impede the sale.
