I love working with Laura and I usually hate Realtors. Most Realtors try to talk you into buying a house, any house. But Laura is a true trusted advisor who knew who knew our values and made sure her advice was tailored to them. Laura hustled for us. We started looking into buying a new house in 2021, but the market was crazy. Everything was either too expensive, not right for us, or was sold hundreds of thousands of dollars over listing with no contingencies. But Laura never pressured us to make an offer that didnt make sense and kept sending us listing and showing us homes even when we felt like we were wasting her time. (And when we needed time off the house hunt to deal with other things in life, Laura didnt push.) If the right house was out there, Laura said, wed find it. And we did, and it was all thanks to Laura. We thought we found the right house, but lost out to another buyer, as we had so many times in the past. Laura suggested sending flyers to owners of the same model in the neighborhood and see if anyone wanted to sell. We were dubious, but said, sure, go for it. Long story short, the neighbor of the house we lost out on answered and we went under contract on the same model, only more upgraded, for almost exactly the same price. Laura made the closing process smooth and easy, even though the seller didnt have an agent. In a stormy buyers market, Laura was our rock. Laura was just as great in selling our current home. With interest rates rising, we were terrified of being caught without a buyer and having our home sit for months. Laura timed the market perfectly, taking us live right before the worst interest-rate hikes kicked in. And she priced us fairly, rather than chasing unrealistic prices, meaning that we went under contract our first 24 hours on the market, and $50,000 over asking price. Even better, she got a contract with no home inspection that meant the closing process could not have been easier. We really couldnt recommend Laura more highly. These were our third and fourth transactions with her, and we wouldnt use anyone else for the ones that come after.

As a home buyer, and general human being, I know how much reviews can sway your decision making process. Yet, I wish there was a stronger way to communicate my enthusiasm in recommending Laura as your real estate agent. My family went through quite an evolution, between target areas, price points, must-haves, etc. Laura never waiver in her patient, yet direct honesty. Laura is not a ?yes? person. She will give you her honest opinion because she wants you to make an educated decision, based on facts. Every time we?d like a house, she?d be following up with us an hour or so later, with recent comps so we were educated in the market and ever-fluctuating prices. We?d look to her for her insight and valued it, whole-heartedly because we trusted that she had our best interests in hearts in all facets of the home buying process. As mentioned, our evolution eventually took us to moving out of the Northern Virginia area to be closer to family. We never questioned who we?d want to list our house. Laura made incredibly helpful recommendations, such as staging and pricing, and we are walking away with an amazing profit that I?m confident that wouldn?t be the same without her expertise. Our selling transaction was not smooth (due to the buyers), but Laura is a shark and was on top of all necessary parties to ensure we closed and all commitments were honored. Lastly, Laura becomes part of your family. She is thoughtful, dropping off treats when she knows you?ve had a rough week, and genuinely becomes your friend and confidant. She has set the bar at an insurmountable height, and we have not found an agent in our current area that comes close to her knowledge, professionalism, work ethic, and personality. We always say ?They?re not Laura, but..? . You want Laura in your corner!
