I wanted to sell my two-bedroom condo on the Elizabeth River in Portsmouth quickly. What I loved about Laura was her sincerity, dedication, and enthusiasm for assisting others in buying and selling their homes. She came to see my place the day after I called her. I was in a hurry to sell, so she had her drone photographer take pictures the following day, and unbelievably the listing was up the next day!! We found a buyer quickly and Laura kept me apprised of the progress of the sale. I sold for more than I had expected to. I appreciated that Laura treated me as well as she would have treated a client selling a top-tier property! (My condo sold for $140,000) Later in 2025, I applied to a senior income-restricted apartment complex and they had to request a real estate verification form from Laura. She speedily complied. Just recently, Laura graciously resent the paperwork which my prperty manager had misplaced. Laura McGuire is personable, knowledgeable, professional, and the best asset to any buyer or seller. The original realtor that was assigned to me dropped the ball in many ways. I had started looking for another realtor to guide me through the process. Mrs Mcguire stepped in and assigned me to Rhaya and from that point forward, she made me feel like at ease through the whole process. ZillowVERIFIED Ava wasnt my original person that I contacted on Zillow to see a house but was more than willing to show us the house. Unfortunately, that wasnt the one for us and we had to exhaust all options. We looked at 2 houses and then we finally saw the third one and she put my offer in right away! She communicated with me when they would look at my offer and let us know if it was selected. Ava always made sure that we were happy/ understood everything going into the buying process. Laura and her were phenomenal when putting my offer in. She always made sure I knew the deadlines and was really personable! We went through some bumps but she always reassured me that everything will work out! I wouldnt have wanted to work alongside anyone else to purchase my first home at only 20 years old! We love Ava!

Her presentation for the timeline and what to expect really set a bar for what to expect and if we ever had questions she was more than happy to help us. ZillowVERIFIED Laura is absolutely amazing. I requested information about a property through Zillow, she called me within 10 minutes of my request. She ended up showing me the house I requested information about by the end of that day. Within 5 minutes of us being at that house we absolutely fell in love with her! She was so knowledgeable and explained every single thing about the process with the in's and out's making me realize how I was failed by every single realtor I had ever worked with. We took the night to talk over our plan and what we wanted to do. The next day Laura met up with us at a brewery and we submitted an offer. It took her about 20 minutes to get our offer ready for us to sign. She got it to the sellers agent and we had an approved offer within two hours. She has shown so much concern for us and has been available at any time, even when I had the simplest of questions. She helped us greatly when we got tied up with a terrible realtor to sell our other property and is continuing to push and support us throughout our selling process as well. She is so connected anything you need to get done while in the process it will be done almost immediately. We had a pre-approval going into our offer, she recommended another lender who we went with and got us an entire percent lower interest rate!!! I am using her to purchase our new home, using her to help me get my current home rented, and using her to sell our current rental property. She has made our entire process easier than I had ever expected. I have not felt an uneasiness or any unnecessary concern, I have complete faith in her abilities to fight and advocate for us! We went through so many issues with a previous agent and within one week Laura showed us probably 30 properties and my friends closing process was so smooth. Last night Laura showed me a property at 6 pm because my boyfriend and I are military and that is the only time we have available. By 9:30 PM she had us hooked up with a mortgage and had an offer accepted. I woke up to emails with personal timelines, written instructions and assistance I never dreamed of having. Honestly do not go to anyone else if you are buying in Hampton Roads.
