ZillowVERIFIED They have been very non-compassionate and not very quick to fix things that needs to be fixed. I had a loss of income and reached out to communicate this with their office. I also asked that they not start the eviction process as I am only TWO WEEKS late. I am a single mother and am having to reach out to organizations for help as well as look for a second job. McCoy Realty was not willing to work with me on this. They slapped an additional $400 for an eviction fee. Not to mention, our roof has been leaking for approximately a week and a half with no mentions of fixing it. The lease states all things are to be fixed in 48 hours, this is false.

ZillowVERIFIED My agent and I had to deal with Latesha when trying to purchase one of her properties. It took them four days to respond to the offer (they were waiting for people to see it over the weekend to respond to the hoard of offers they thought they were going to get- they didnt). We finally agreed on a price then we then entered a due diligence phase with the home. I scheduled an inspection and the heat and electric were off so I kept having to push the inspection back in order to accommodate them, so we extended the due diligence period. The house had a lot of problems so we were negotiating - we had to extend the due diligence again. Meanwhile, they were showing the house to other people and never changed the status of it on the MLS or Zillow to show that it was pending. They came back with a decent offer so I wanted to talk to someone to see if it would be worth it to fix the damages myself but only had a few more days in the due diligence. They wouldnt extend the period. They said they had more people interested in it and needed a decision. After wasting all my time for a month of back and forth, they wouldnt give me a few extra days because they had been showing it to others. I honestly wasnt going to write a review, we had a bad experience and I just chalked it up to a bad realtor and broker, but what got under my skin was I saw it had dropped in price but it had never shown the pending status on Zillow. It felt like they were trying to cheat me and now feels like theyre trying to cheat whoever is next. I get wanting to sell the house, but it feels like they werent even willing to respond in a timely manner or do things with integrity.

ZillowVERIFIED I found McCoy Realty via a Google Search and then via a referral on the app NextDoor. I thought if they are getting positive reviews in 2 places then they should be worth taking a chance on and I am so happy I did. So often I have come in contact with businesses that do what is necessary to get you in the door and then fall off as the business relationship continues and that was not the case with McCoy Realty. This company came through at a time when I had begun to give up hope that I would find a company that would provide the services that I would need for my multiple properties, but McCoy Realty showed me that sweat-less victories still exist. I started first with property management. Which took an absolute LOAD off of me. Being able to take tenant concerns, complaints, needs off my plate was a GIFT that this company will never be able to understand how grateful I was to receive. It was a relief that opened the door to me being able to apply focus to other aspects of my business as well as other aspects of my property acquisition portfolio. And at an economical and realistic rate (because my budget was important). When my entrepreneurial endeavors expanded into me needing to transition out of state, I didnt have to do anything but call and advise the office of the change in plans. The entire team hit the ground running with changing their efforts from property management to ensuring that my homes, and my lot were all put up for sale at a profitable price point in line with the beautiful sellers market that Atlanta continues to have. LaTesha McCoy specifically was very instrumental in crossing the ts and dotting the is of this process for me. EVEN AFTER the fact McCoy Realty went above and beyond when an escrow company was offensively late providing me my due funds. LaTesha is a realtor that I trust my most valued property assets with because I know she is going to handle any situation in its entirety like a professional, but I also appreciate knowing that she can be a proxy to my pitbull in a skirt personality and get the job done in a manner that is proactive and strongly assertive when necessary. When we first started our home buying journey we (of course) didn?t know what to expect like every 1st time home buyer. From the first phone call to closing Latesha was very professional, assertive and personal. She not only catered to my husband and I but also to my young boys. Now.... when it comes to traveling, she will drive to Timbuktu to reach you. Distance doesnt bother her. You can tell she loves what she does. Her team at McCoy Realty Group were also professional and on top of things. They made my experience smooth with no complications. Latesha was patient, highly knowledgeable about Georgia and the Atlanta area (she has lived here for many years and lived in several areas of the city), Latesha knows Atlanta real estate, and the ins-and-outs of buying homes, and was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Latesha was patient with my changing my mind about offers and generous in giving detailed feedback and notes in reading through home disclosures, HOAs disclosures (which she has great expertise in reviewing) and contracts, pointing me in a good direction with lenders, helping set realistic expectations throughout the process, and basically guided me through every step of the way. It was as if we had been friends for years and I always felt like a priority with LaTesha. This was the first home buying experience for my wife and I. The loan process was very intimidating to say the least but LaTesha always went to bat for us and assured me that we will get through this, and we did. From picking us up from the hotel when we drove down to see the home to making sure our property was maintained until we could move in, to stopping what she was doing to rush to our new home when our shipping containers arrived and needed to maneuver into our driveway. And everything in between was done as if we were her only client, which I knew she had many. Sometimes she would just call to see how the loan process was going and when it came time to close she was there to explain everything. I have been doing customer service for my company for over 15 years and I know how important it is to satisfy clients. Latesha, in my opinion, belongs in the top 1% of professionals who put the customer first. Her expertise matched with her personal interest gave us the confidence and reassurance to go through one of the most stressful endeavors there is... buying a new home.
