About Larry Sanders

Born into a military family in Petersburg, VA, I grew up focused on a career as an officer in the Army. After graduating from Longwood University with a Business Management degree in 2003, I was approached by a Richmond area residential home builder. My career path changed, and I took a project management position. By 2007, I had formed a solid business network and at the request of several affiliates, made the transition to become a licensed realtor. The first years were tough because of the housing market, but I learned many valuable lessons during that time which have allowed me to meet the needs of my ever-growing client base. In 2015, I started a team - The Sanders Group of Hometown Realty. Together, we have created a systematic approach to the buying and selling process to help reduce stress and make it fun for everyone involved! Our full-time transaction coordinator is also a licensed agent, so you can rest assured knowing that you have a true team of real estate professionals in your corner from start to finish! The majority sold for at or above list price, while the rest sold within 97% of list. -I earned the Central Virginia Distinguished Achiever Award in 2015. -I was given the Lynn E. Rogers "Treat People The Way You Want To Be Treated" Award from Hometown Realty in 2016.
