Review I first met Destiny (one of the Alaska Dream Makers realtors) at an open house. I was very impressed with her responses to my questions and her commitment to getting answers to the questions that she didn't know right off hand. I subsequently worked with both Destiny and Larry as buyer's agents as I began working to find the house of my dreams. They were both fantastic to work with - they gave good advice but made sure that I understood my options as a buyer. They were both very honest and forthright in explaining things - about the community (which I was new to), the neighborhoods, and the houses that we looked at as well as giving me great insights into the housing market and the pricing on the houses. They are two of the best, most professional yet warm and friendly agents/brokers that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Even when I chose to purchase a For Sale By Owner house and decided to proceed with the purchase without them, Larry was kind enough to offer his help with answering any questions that I had. My family and I used Alaska Dream Makers to find our first ever home about eight years ago. Jacque was always informative about the pros and cons to each existing home we would look at. It was evident that she wanted us to be in the know of all things good and bad, and for us to truly love the house we choose. The Ficek's were never assertive or pushy in how they handled us. They always exuded patience, and allowed us ample time to consider our choices. Here we are almost eight years later, and we have chosen to use Alaska Dream Makers once again to sell our home. We are currently in the process of working with Larry and Jacque, only this time we are wanting to build. Nothing has changed in the way they do business. They still bring their good humor and skill to the table. They have really helped us make informed decisions about who we choose to build with and which properties have good potential. Building has proved to be a much longer process, but the Ficek's have remained perfectly patient with us. Review Larry and Jacque are some of the sweetest and most sincere folks we've ever met! They know real estate inside and out and walk you through every step. They let you know all of your options and never push things to just "get it over with." You have a voice in everything and they remind you of that throughout. They made buying our first home a breeze, and when it came time to sell they thought of everything! Our home sold within 2 days of listing!! They actually do a 3D walk through, not just a slideshow of pictures! On top of being realtors, they also have amazing vacation cabins they rent out in the area. Our lender stretched things out much further than expected, and Larry, Jacque and Jessica were persistent in getting updates from a relatively unresponsive loan officer. They went far, far above and beyond the call of duty in multiple cases to make the process easier for us; they are not only highly professional, but are extremely friendly and caring people. They were always there to answer questions, even at odd hours, and were always quick to respond. Review We had Jacque and Larry come to the house and they helped decide on a listing price. The price range of our home was only selling on average one home every month to month and half. They made suggestions about staging the home and also did an incredible amount of research and many photo's. They have great access to all of the current media outlets. Long story short, they helped price and market our home to a fair price. We had a full price offer in 4 days. Pretty incredible considering the market in the home price range we owned.

Review Larry and Jacque made the process of selling the house in Wasilla a delightful experience --- especially cashing the significant check afterward!!! From the beginning I felt confident in their advice, they listed the property everywhere an electron is likely to be found with real estate data, and, as I moved out of state as the house went on the market, they managed all the details I was no longer around to take care of. This couple knows their stuff and the real estate market. Communication was just what I needed to know, when I needed to know it. If an item needed attention that I had no previous experience with, Larry had options and was very willing to explain each in detail; leaving the final decision clearly to me (which I liked). The day Jacque came to photograph the house, by the time she left, I felt like I was living in something from the pages of House Beautiful. She knows how to stage a home so it represents well in the market. (Don't argue; take her suggestions!)
