However, she was very confident in knowing what updates we needed to make to get the most out of the asking price. We know we weren't the easiest seller, as we eventually had to move cross-country before the house would be listed. She was extremely helpful in that regard and very communicative during the process. I highly recommend reaching out to Kirsten if you are considering selling your house, even as the market turns. She can be quite direct about things, but you can trust that she has your best interests and will still work with you if you can't cover all the critical updates. While she doesn't live in the area we were selling, she has sold other houses around the neighborhood. She listened to our descriptions when reviewing comps which other Agents ignored. There are comps close to this house that are much different for several reasons, which is somewhat typical of Atlanta, but Kirsten understood this and we worked with her to put together the correct comparisons.

My name (or nickname) is not Jim, and this left me feeling pretty uncomfortable. I waited a day thinking about how I should respond. I decided to find someone else, because it made me feel so uncomfortable. I chose to write her an email explaining why I felt uncomfortable instead of taking the passive stance of finding someone else without saying why or just posting an anonymous, bad review. I was hoping to provide positive, constructive criticism. Big mistake. She called me less than 20 minutes later and made me feel even worse by saying I wouldn't find anyone who would live up to my standards. My standard is knowing my name - especially in an email where you have the time to fact check before sending the email. Hopefully what I can impress on whomever is reading this is that if you want to be treated as a number, Kirsten is for you. If you would like someone to know your name, find someone else. I, obviously, did not continue with Kirsten, so I cannot speak to her knowledge or expertise as a realtor. Kirsten, if you are reading this, the call inspired this review. Accept your faults and failings as they come and *apologize*. When someone is looking for a place to live, they don't want to fight with their realtor. What was the purpose of the call? The most recent sale involved a modern home built in 1986 that required a lot of work in a number of different areas. From marketing the home, to negotiating the terms of the sales contract, to taking the lead on several extensive repairs (such as stucco repairs and radon remediation), to addressing post closing issues, Kirsten did an outstanding job yet again with the most difficult transaction she has handled for me. ZillowVERIFIED We had an amazing home buying experience with Kirsten. We have many friends that are realtors but when buying in this market it really pays to have a true veteran with the experience she has. First, she knew all the in town neighborhoods we liked, and was even able to share a few others we hadn't considered. We ended up ultimately buying a home in a neighborhood she showed us we had not explored. It had much more amenities, and resale value was better. Further, it was a better choice for us, being 5 miles from downtown but far enough away to get much more property and privacy for our money! Kirsten met us on the drop of a hat so many times, sometimes late in the afternoon/evening around 7:30pm since my wife and I have a busy schedule. There was never a house we wanted to see that she delayed showing us- this is imperative in this market. If you wait a day or two, most likely that home will be under contract quickly. This made a huge difference for us and helped up get in there at the right time. So many homes will dissolve if you do not get in there fast, gather info and make an offer. Just as important, Kirsten knew all the details and things that can happen during the buying process. She guided us so that we did not get our hearts broken and pointed out all the variables with every home. This is so important- she was able to educate us on things like gaps in appraisal to offer price, inspection contingencies and other things we would not know about without her. Once we found the home we loved and wanted,she made it happen! Not only did she put our offer into action fast, she knew the selling agent and was able to negotiate with them. This may have not happened if she had not known that agent and already had a good relationship with them. She is the type of agent that spends all her time staying connected and looking for the best homes for her clients. She knows her industry and all the players in it. I can't say enough about how experienced she is- she walked us through the entire closing process and was by our side while we jumped through hoops on the financing. She even knew the mortgage agent and was able to talk directly with him to insure our loan was approved and there were no delays. Once we went under contract she was even able to help and connect us with the right people we needed- Home Warranty, Surveys, Inspections, Appraisals, Pest Control and even Heat and A/C contractors, she refereed them all to us. They were all excellent as she knew them and the quality of their work. That was a huge time saver for us. Simply amazing, we will never use anyone else!

ZillowVERIFIED We were moving from Indianapolis to Atlanta and needed a real estate agent. Our agent in Indianapolis referred us to Kirsten, and we are glad he did. With less than two months to work with, Kirsten met with us during our first trip to Atlanta to look for a condo. While we had many places to visit that we had found online in advance, she took the time to get to know us and our desired lifestyle and match buildings that she knew would meet our needs and where we would be happiest. We found it on the first day, went back for a second visit on day two, and had the contract and deal locked up before returning home. There were several bumps in the road in all the moving parts of selling our home which affected the transaction in Atlanta, but Kirsten was available when we needed her, knowledgeable about the process, and able to resolve all the issues that arose.
