We went under contract with a property for a first time home buying couple. 3 days before closing, the ex-wife seller backed out. My clients were devasted by the loss of that home. A week later, I had them back under contract with a new home, and we pushed all parties to close in 3 weeks. I worked with my lender partner, and he was able to recover another new home buyer program to help with down payment, as they had lost out on the previous program with the loss of the first deal. They have now moved in, and are extremely happy with the new property.
