She not only helped us get the house - she even got the home owner to come down $20,000!! off the asking price (even tho that lowered her commission on an already cheap house!) ZillowVERIFIED We were relocating from the Minneapolis area, and Kim and her team were referred to us by the KW realtor who sold our current home. Kim iniated a phone call with us to get a feel for what our needs were; why we were relocating (twin grandsons), type of home (single story), our price range, and other important concerns. We scheduled a visit for our home search a couple weeks later. In the meantime, Kim kept us apprised of what the Appleton market was doing so that we were better prepared when we came for our home search. When we arrived for our search, Kim and Brian had a list of 5 properties that met our criteria. They objectively presented each of the properties, carefully pointing out the positives while also sharing things that may be of concern. They were not pushy, but rather allowed us to feely draw our own conclusions. They listened carefully to our comments to enable them to learn more about what was important to us. We have worked with realtors in the past who tended to try to "oversell" us; that was not the case with Kim. One of the homes we looked at that day seemed to fit our needs, but we wanted to give it some thought overnight. Kim did not push us to make an immediate offer, but rather allowed us our time. The following day we decided we wanted to take another look at the property we liked. When we decided we wanted to make an offer, Kim shared her expertise to help us make an offer that she thought would get us our new home. Our offer and terms were accepted! Kim. Brian, and Lindsey took the reins to coordinate the inspection, review, counter offer for repairs, and follow up necessary for us to complete our purchase from 300 miles away. Constant contact with her team via phone and email were much appreciated. Our next face-to-face contact was at our walk through the day prior to closing. We were not expecting any surprises, as we were kept in the loop throughout the process during the weeks leading up to closing. The closing process was simple, and we are delighted with our new home and to be part of this new chapter in our lives. We highly recommend Kim and her team. We will definitely refer her to others, and will use her in the future for our real estate needs. THANK YOU Kim, Brian, and Lindsey!

ZillowVERIFIED Kim Batterman assisted my siblings and myself in selling our mother's home. Kim was very involved as our "Seller's Agent" at the beginning of the selling process. She was knowledgeable and spoke, dressed, and acted very professional. Our listing was active within 5 days of signing the listing contract and we received 4 offers on the property within the first 3 days. Kim guided us through the offer acceptance phase, but then seemed to step aside. A voice message left for her was not returned, but instead she had an assistant return the call. This home was listed for sale during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Kim assured us that anyone entering the home would wear face masks and gloves. This was not the case, however, as the appraiser, home buyers, and contractors came into the home without face masks and gloves. Because I was still involved sorting and cleaning my mother's personal items, I was often at the house. I requested that I be notified when others were scheduled to visit the home, but this was not done. I am immunocompromised (due to cancer and autoimmune diseases) and was concerned about the lack of communication and the lack of PPE. I have not rated Kim higher because of the poor communication after the accepted offer, because of statements made about providing protective equipment which was not realized, and allowing others (appraiser, contractors, potential buyers) to enter the home without an agent present and without prior confirmation or notification to the sellers.

Let me tell you that the Batterman's blew all other agents "out of the water"! Not only do they have extensive knowledge in their profession, but they provide you with all the data and tools to back up what they are saying. We listed on a Thursday and we sold on our first showing on Saturday! We got more than asking price. We had a few hiccups with the inspection but Kim and Brian worked with us closely to get through those steps and went above and beyond to help us any way they could. They also communicated with us on every process of the sale and they responded to our questions immediately. If you want your house sold quickly and for more than asking, then you NEED to hire the Batterman's!

They helped with the pricing and the limited negotiation that took place, and helped us and our neighbor with the process and the paperwork. That was soooo useful as we made a major interstate move in the middle of it. Kim's assistant helped arrange for multiple contractors to come out and repair the items identified in inspection and Brian reviewed each legal contract with a fine tooth comb so we were signing documents once, correctly, the first time with absolute clarity. Kim and her team are fantastic at making sure every t is crossed and i dotted throughout the process. They checked in regularly, kept me updated, and kept everyone in the transaction calm. When the first buyers had financing issues Kim reviewed multiple options with me and them through their realtor and helped us come to the best solution.
