ZillowVERIFIEDI was going through a difficult move in 2011. In thinking back on the process I think Kevin had a good knowledge of the local real estate market but did not effectively protect me from some bullying type buyers. It was a different market at the time but in retrospect I would not work with Kevin again and also could not recommend him for others. Perhaps mine was an exception but that is my feeling thinking back on that transaction.

We were specifically looking for a home with an in-law apartment and Kevin kept in contact regularly with potential properties. His use of technology worked well with my busy schedule, he would of course call when necessary but emails and texts are faster, easier and appreciated. We fell in love with one of the first houses we looked at and he helped us navigate the back and forth with the sellers regarding potential issues / inspections and everything that goes along with the home buying process. As first time buyers everything was completely foreign to us but Kevin took the time to go through all of the steps and answer all of our questions; even accommodating our schedules by meeting us after normal hours in his office. You are getting someone with vast real estate knowledge but without that "used car salesman" vibe you get from many agents. The others involved in the sale had nothing but good things to say about him as well, as other reviewers have stated he's just a nice guy and that comes across in how he deals with you. ZillowVERIFIED Kevin was the third realtor we hired to sell our home. He was the only one who actually listened. When we asked him to advertise on the UConn off campus web site, he did. When I asked him to let me know the status after a showing, he did, even if there was no news to share. He would often even preemptively send me a text message letting me know there was no news, knowing that I was probably wondering. I never felt that he wasn't working hard for us. He was the only realtor who really understood that people are online looking first. He understood how to use technology to sell real estate. And when it came down to receiving offers, he understood what we were looking for and seemed to get the message to area realtors so they wouldn't bring inlow ball offers. And, he was just plain nice. I can't recommend him more highly.

ZillowVERIFIED Kevin is true professional. I met Kevin "by chance" at an open house I stopped at. I discovered that day that he had an easy-going personality and answered questions honestly. I never sensed that "realtor spin" in what he was saying. He seemed content to let the house sell itself, not make it "his sale". Because I was seriously looking for a home to purchase, and because he made me feel so comfortable at the open house, I called him on several properties over the next few weeks. My calls were returned quickly and he was always ready to show me a property or find out more information if I had questions. He made himself available at any hour of any day. It was helpful, I might add, that he was as comfortable with texting on his phone as he was with making and receiving phone calls. It made the whole process less arduous when a couple of sentences could be exchanged quickly. When I found a property I wanted to purchase, Kevin directed me, giving me a timeline for deadlines we had to meet. He was ready with a list of trusted contacts he had developed over the years. He addressed every concern about the property, even finding names for carpet cleaning and floor refinishing services for me, and calling the town hall to inquire about well and tax records. I changed realtors at the end of November 2010 and listed my house with Kevin Paradis. Two weeks later we had an Open House and within the month an offer. From the time Kevin listed my home right through the closing he kept constant contact with me. He kept me updated on progress and was always kind and compassionate. I would recommend that if you want your home sold quickly and also have someone who cares then contact Kevin. Bottom line is...he's the best!
