Chris was not only raised here, but he and Kerri are raising their own family here, so they have invaluable experience on island living...from explaining how a cistern works, to where to get the best produce, to how to avoid the potholes! ZillowVERIFIED Chris and Kerri were recommended to me by other business contacts of mine on St. Croix. I called Chris and he immediately called me back and provided all of his contact information. He was available through phone and e-mail whenever I had questions. When I decided to visit St. Croix and investigate the local real estate market, Chris immediately jumped into action. He asked me all of the right questions and gave me historical information and background about the Island, information on why houses are built the way they are, and his views on the various areas of the Island and which areas would be best for me based on my preferences for lifestyle. He then set up appointments, working around my schedule and showed me exactly the kinds of properties that I had described in the price range that I had specified. He also showed me properties that were above and below my price range so that I could gauge whether my price range was realistic. That was particularly helpful. Upon my return to the mainland, Kerri stayed in touch with me and now sends me new listings that meet my criteria as they become available. Other than being the consummate professionals in the real estate world on St. Croix and a huge source of information on the Island outside of real estate, Chris and Kerri are decent, kind and concerned people. They are a joy to be around and I would recommend them to anyone looking at properties on St. Croix.

ZillowVERIFIED Incredible is too diminutive a word to describe the service that I received from the the Chris & Kerri Hanley team at Sothebys. The house that I had to sell was not easy. It was an investment property who's value had significantly decreased since I had purchased it in 2005. It had been rented for several years, but with the rent I was receiving, I hardly had enough to pay half of my monthly mortgage on the place. As a result, there was a considerable amount of deferred maintenance. When the Hanley Team stepped in, they reviewed the entire situation, made suggestions of repairs that absolutely had to be made, suggested local folks who could do what needed to be done at a fair price and followed up to be sure that what I had asked to be done was done properly. Needless to say, this is the most attentive, hard working real estate group that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They found me a buyer who paid my price, but besides that, they negotiated with my lender to make certain that my sale would be as smooth as possible. The Hanleys know St. Croix better than anyone. I don't think there is anyone on that Island who doesn't know who they are, and everyone has a good word to say about them. I give them my highest recommendation and would use their services again without question.

Chris took time to show us condos within our price range, gave us relevant information about each neighborhood, and when we were ready he helped us negotiate a contract. They gave us good recommendations for the inspection, and continue to guide us as we proceed to closing. The assistants in the office are very knowledgeable about all of the processes involved in purchasing a property, and they have been as helpful as Chris and Kerri during our purchase.
