I reached out to Kerri as I saw she had recently sold a neighbors home and could not have been more happy with my decision. I spoke with Kerri a couple months before I would ultimately go on the market, but I had to get some personal things in order before I could sell. Kerri was never pushy during this time, instead giving me the time needed. By the time I was ready to sell, I would be relocating out of state. Kerri was very helpful during this stressful time, including referring and getting me in contact with a great realtor in North Carolina. We needed a superior agent who could handle both unprecedented situations as well as meet our expectations and ultimately secure our dream house. I've known Kerri for over 20 years (college neighbors), but had never worked with her before. Following her real estate career from afar, I always felt she'd be a great representative and I'm glad we were able to work with her. After we told her about our ideal dream home, we also shared variables we'd consider as well as showstoppers we don't want in a new home. Kerri setup a helpful search to meet our criteria and was prompt in responding to questions about properties not mentioned in listings so that we didn't waste time visiting those that weren't in the ballpark. Kerri set the tone on our first viewing by pointing out items of concern immediately as well as praising the positives. We appreciated how Kerri didn't push us into making offers on homes we only "kind of" liked and was patient with the search that lasted several months. When we found our forever home which checked every required box for "the one", we all knew it was the one while at the viewing as it was the first and only time she prompted us to make an offer ASAP. Before that, Kerri only discussed values and asked what we wanted to do. That's how in tune she was with what our hearts were set on. Kerri absolutely wanted us to be happy beyond the purchase and it showed the entire journey. We asked her what she thought it would take to secure the home and we settled on the winning price. She was always professional and gave us her best effort in all aspects of the process. Obtaining information, making sure paperwork was correct and complete in a timely manner, being prompt with appointments, and handling curveballs along the way, Kerri is simply an amazing real estate agent. Oh yeah, she was honest about everything. She didn't overpromise, sugarcoat, or hide details to sweeten situations. I wouldn't expect anything else because I know her, but it's important for me to say for anyone reading this review who is considering Kerri's services. If we need another agent, it's Kerri. I'd even ask her to come out of retirement if it's that far down the road.

ZillowVERIFIED I purposely wanted to take some time to gather my thoughts before posting a heartfelt review of working with Kerri Gurley. I will admit that I didn't intend to take quite *this* much time, but in the days of Covid-19, the weeks and months have simply gotten away from me. All that said, my experience working with Kerri was so life-changing that I've made a point to come back to complete a review of our home-buying process, which would not have been possible without Kerri's assistance. If my memory is correct, I believe we worked with Kerri for approximately three-four months before buying our new home. That is not to say this was a "1home / 1 offer" situation. On the contrary, we made offers on three different homes - with all three reaching various degrees of a battle to the end! We made the incorrect assumption that buying a home later in the year would make things a little less stressful, as we knew the "hot" buying season is typically Spring/early Summer. Boy, did we underestimate all the ways that we were wrong! Through it all, Kerri was steadfast in her leadership and assistance. She leveled our expectations to a more realistic place, and never wavered in her drive to make sure we found THE perfect home. Yes--there were times that I truly just wanted to get any house! But Kerri steered us away from a few we were considering simply because the whole process can be daunting - especially when you think you've found the right one, only to be outbid by another buyer. A few interactions with Kerri stand out to me to this day, as they actually made an imprint on my heart. I recall one particular evening around dinner time when she'd come to meet us at a house that we found online. We were walking through the house and noticed a few checklist items that didn't quite hit the mark. These particular issues could've had an easy fix or possibly cost hundreds or thousands of dollars to correct. Kerri listened to all the reasons why I felt we could just make it work, and then she turned to me and said, "I know this is not an easy process but I will stay awake at night, worrying about your family if you settle for something that isn't just right." I knew she meant it. I've never forgotten that moment. On another occasion, we wanted to make an offer on a house while she was away on a short vacation. Instead of handing us off to someone else on her team (whom I feel confident would have been helpful!), she literally took her laptop to the beach so she could get our offer into the hands of the seller without delay. That speaks volumes about the kind of person Kerri Gurley is... not just as a realtor but at the core of her character. When we spoke about that later in the week, she explained that to her -- "being a realtor is just like being a mom. It's a 24/7 commitment." As a mother myself, nothing she could say meant more to me than those words. And that's exactly how Kerri Gurley cares for her clients -- like Family. We closed on our new home in late October, and have spent the months since making it everything we dreamed it could be for our family. I cannot thank Kerri enough for the love and guidance she poured into us throughout our home-buying journey. Her passion reaches far beyond buying and selling real estate; she carefully leads the way for her clients to fulfill their dreams.

ZillowVERIFIED I connected with Kerri back in 2018 when I was planning to sell one of my properties. I recall us meeting a few months before I officially listed my house. At the time, I was still deciding on which Listing Agent I was going to use, and I chose Kerri because of her professional nature, patience and most of all she didn't pressure. She followed up with every now and then, and when it was time for me to list my house, I chose Kerri. She provided good guidance, design ideas, education, great marketing and most of all a good pair of ears when I got frustrated (and believe me the process of selling a house can be frustrating sometimes). We got multiple offers within the first week and the house went under contract in less than a month. Fast forward a few months later, I had another house I decided to put on the market and I partnered with Kerri once again. This second house was one heck of a challenge, but once again Kerri worked her magic! Outstanding marketing, and professionalism once again. We ended up getting the house under contract within a month and closed despite a market that slowed down slightly due to the Corona Virus quarantine. Would I use Kerri again? Absolutely! ZillowVERIFIED Kerri is simply the best! Just made a move from CA to GA. To say the least a cross country move and finding a home for the family is very stressful. I could not believe the amount of work and effort Kerri put in to help me and my family. We decided to rent the 1st year in GA and if you don't know Agents don't make really anything on a rental. We found a nice home but the Landlord and his Agent didn't seem to have things together. When Kerri saw the paperwork they presented she told me not to sign and protected me. She ended up having to do the paperwork to make sure it was right (the other agent's job). On the walk through, promised repairs were not made and she got those fixed as well. Issue after issue and Kerri was right there every step of the way. Gave my family and I so much peace of mind during a tough transition. My wife and I cannot wait to work with her to find a home to buy.
