We listed my sister's condo with Kam Khazai of the Ken Abramowitz agency. Since this property was part of an estate and we live 600 miles away, we took a chance to select a realtor after just one short meeting with a couple different possibilities. When Kam offered to have his contractor replace a door without expecting us to list with him, we knew he was someone who would go above and beyond. He trusted us to pay his contractor and reimburse him for the materials he purchased. That alone lifted quite a weight off our shoulders. He kept us informed every step of the way to a quick sale. He also fully supported our choice to sell the property "as is" and gave us his opinion on what investment would be required to increase the selling price. In the end, our situation benefitted from a quick and clean sale and that's what we got with Kam. My only regret is that he is too far away to help us with another upcoming sale in Ohio.

ZillowVERIFIED When we decided it was time to sell and buy, we did extensive research and interviewed many agents. Ken stood out. We had our first meeting and during this time, we did most of the talking and he did most of the listening, which was not what the other agents did. Other agents talked about what they could do for us, which is understandable, but if they dont hear what our needs our, does it really matter what they can do? They stressed us out and we had not even started the process. Ken was different. He was very transparent and honest, and there was no pressure. During the process, I knew it would be stressful, but didnt realize how emotional it would be also- severing ties with a home that was filled with memories. Ken was very patient with me and would promptly text back whenever I texted him with a question. No question was a dumb question. He was always gracious and friendly. We purchased and sold our home during COVID-19 with minimal stress, quickly and at a higher price then the listing. At closing I joked with Ken that I would go into withdrawal of not texting him :). We would recommend Ken and his team to anyone and we will defiantly use their services in the future if needed.

Ken listed and sold our home in Riverdale, MD under the most difficult circumstances I can imagine (basically right as the COVID-19 pandemic was taking root). It was a very difficult time for my family and we were stressed to the breaking point. Ken was there for us, at every step. He went above and beyond. He understood that his job was not simply to sell our home but also to help us manage our anxieties. He handled everything calmly and coolly, especially when we were neither, and he got it done. ZillowVERIFIED Ken is awesome. First of all, his ring tone is the Game of Thrones theme song, so you know that when you call, he's ready for action. We contacted him with mild interest in purchasing a home, and then a few months later, our rental was flooded. I shot him an email saying that we were ready to move ASAP. He took us to a few houses, one of which we loved at first sight and he had us moved in in three weeks, at under asking, in a killer neighborhood. I highly recommend Ken. He's a nice guy, pleasant to be around, and is super knowledgeable. His team works with impeccable attention to detail, and immediate responsiveness to questions, which is key when dealing with first time buyers- who don't know anything- like us.

On reflection, I am amazed that you and your team made this long distance sale so easy for the seller. My experience with you was in stark contrast to the experience I had with another organization that I explored before contacting you. That other experience conditioned me to expect the worse. Clearly, I made the right choice in working with you and your team. This is especially true given the "complex" circumstances of having a tenant that was not fully cooperative, given the poor condition of the property, and given that I live 1000-plus miles distant from the property. Know that your advice and ability to find a buyer are very much appreciated. I want to especially highlight my interaction with Ms. M.H. (person's name withheld here for privacy). I have bought/sold over ten homes in my lifetime and no one has made the closing exercise easier, more transparent and more fun .... yes, fun ... than Ms. M.H. She was on top of all of the issues, she kept me amazingly informed of needs and timing, and her sense of humor and optimism made my communications with her almost a social event. If all of that sounds too good to be true ... rest assured that it is true. As a seller, of course I would have liked to have sold the property for a greater price. That is the perpetual desire of a seller. If I lived nearer to the property, I might have made the effort to manage a rehab of the property and eke out a greater profit. But realistically, I could not do that long distance with any confidence. In view of that situation, I do sleep well now with the belief that I received a fair market price for a property that required considerable repair. In summary ....
