Kelly Hendrickson is a lifelong resident of Pierce County with deep roots in the community she proudly serves. After graduating from high school, she attended Clover Park VTI, where she studied Banking and Finance, launching her career at BECU. After several successful years in banking, Kelly expanded her professional experience by serving as Office Manager for both a furniture company and a property management company. In 2005, she obtained her real estate license--and has never looked back. Real estate quickly became her passion and long-term career. Kelly was the first broker to join Better Properties Summit and has since advanced to become the firm's Designated Broker & Owner. She enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and brings firsthand experience to her clients, having purchased and rehabilitated several of her own homes over the past 15 years. She is also a WSHFC Trained Homebuyer Education Instructor, allowing her to better serve first-time and informed buyers alike. Outside of real estate, Kelly is deeply committed to serving the veteran community. She serves on the board of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) as President and past AUSA President for the Lakewood/University Place Subchapter - Captain Meriwether Lewis Chapter. Answered Questions

Should I order a home inspection?

A home inspection is one of the most important steps when purchasing a home because it helps uncover potential issues you can't see during a showing. An inspector evaluates major systems like the roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more. This gives buyers peace of mind, helps avoid unexpected repair costs, and provides the opportunity to negotiate repairs or credits before closing. A home inspection protects your investment and ensures you're making an informed decision on one of the biggest purchases of your life.
