We ended up seeing four homes with him, two in Aberdeen, one in Hoquiam and one in Ocean Shores. 3 were historical homes. I greatly appreciated how responsive Kaylan was leading up to the showing day. During our showings, we appreciated how knowledgeable Kaylan was on the historic homes and were impressed that he had previously rehabbed a historic home himself! Kaylan was extremely knowledgeable about the local culture, community and history and provided us with a lot of great information. We were also blown away by how willing Kaylan was to help us explore the area! Ultimately, we decided that the area is not for us but it's too bad because Kaylan was so great! While there were some difficulties with inspections and meeting demands of the buyer, Kaylan was able to navigate through all of it and keep a calm composure which really helped us stay calm through the process. He made thoughtful recommendations that saved us money and we were still able to sell our house within our 60 day goal of it being originally listed. He even came out of his own pocket to help us with some of the expenses of getting the house ready to sell. Kaylan was the first to respond back to us, and we are VERY glad he did. There is no way we would have successfully completed this challenging purchase transaction without him. Kaylan showed honesty and integrity from the start. He got a good sense from us as to what kind of property we were looking for, and he kept our goals in mind as we looked as houses. He was punctual, calling if he was running late. As the transaction progressed, it became clear what a great problem solver Kaylan was. One challenge after another arose, and Kaylan was always on it. I scrolled down the page and called the listing agent and got a voice mail. I didn't want to wait so I called the next agent and the next. When I got to Kaylan's number he answered, the only one to answer out of 4 agents. Now a days people want answers right away and Kaylan understands that. It could be late at night, early in the day, weekends, or even holidays and he was there for me trying to make the process of buying a home as easy and stress free as possible. Right off the bat Kaylan set me up with a great lender, when approved he started showing me houses and I never had to wait with him, Not only would he show me a house whenever I wanted him to but he was always on time. He called me one day right when i was getting to a house to tell me he was running late which I really appreciated and he was only 2 minutes late. He consistently showed that he cared about not wasting my time. He was always professional while being very approachable and friendly. Kaylan knows the area very well and was honest with me when I asked specific questions on areas and demographics even if it meant loosing a sale, he truly cared that I was happy with my choice on a home and he knew I was new to the area and was more than willing to answer my thousands of questions. I had a price range that made it difficult to find a place with my wants in the type of neighborhood I wanted. Kaylan was so patient with me when I wanted more then I could actual afford and wanted to see every house on the market, just in case it was the one. His tolerance and patience was undeniable.When we found the one and the offer was accepted Kaylan was even more impressive. He stayed on top of every one and every thing making the entire process easier for me. My wife and I, along with our 3 young kids, relocated from Shoreline and while it is not to far in distance to travel, the commute with traffic made it an all day process. After researching the area for months, we needed to see as many houses in that day as we could since we would only be able to make the trip once a week. Not only did Kaylan take the time to coordinate SEVERAL listings to look at, he was great with the kids allowing us to take our time and really consider the pros and cons of each residence. We never felt rushed even though we took up a considerable amount of his time coordinating our weekly meetings. We almost gave up hope trying to find anything in our budget and that would fit our challenging family needs until Kaylan did some additional research and suggested a home we would not have considered due to the price. I was reluctant because I didn't want my family and I to fall in love with something we couldn't afford and, of course, we absolutely did! It literally checked off every one of our boxes that we needed to have in a home (such a rare thing). Kaylan then went to work, educated us in the process AND got it in our price range along with the minor fixes we needed to have happen beforehand. So long story short, Kaylan is awesome! He is professional, punctual, knowledgeable, extremely patient and made the process of buying a house painless. If we didn't use him as our realtor we would have missed out on our dream house.
