It was a long arduous road for all of us (her especially, I'm sure), but after 2 years of on and off searching in an insane market we finally found the perfect fit for our growing family with (most) all the qualities we had hoped for when we started this journey. It wasn't our first offer that we made during that time either...over the course of looking we made 4 in total! My husband and I both liked the sound advice she gave us and also that she made little hesitation to draw up offers for us even when we decided on a different buying price or terms than what she recommended. It was important to us to feel supported but not coerced during such a monumental decision. At no point during our scouting did we ever feel ignored or way-sided, Michaela is a rapid-rate responder! Even on the occasion when she was unable to meet us at showings, instead of delaying she sent another agent of her team to meet us, which we were very grateful for. Michaela always made us feel like our comfortability in "the search" was her main concern. She pushed us to make hard decisions in a timely manner, but also gave us space to reflect or take a breather during the hunt whenever we asked. When we were ready to pull the trigger, Michaela was a speed demon on getting questions answered and offers sent! We're soooo thankful for all of her time and diligence.

She was generous with the gift of her time, I never felt like I was bothering her, even with her busy schedule. If you are looking for someone reliable, not pushy, who really has your best interest at heart, this team is where it's at. We were on the market with another realtor, who in comparison to Katie, they completely dropped the ball. We felt lost but then came Katie to literally save the day. Right from the beginning she was there to help and she has a great knowledge of the local market and it's ups and downs. The new pictures and ad were perfect, exactly what we wanted! (Thanks Lauren!!) We went from no showings to many, and right away. We had our first contact within a week! No joke. Not due to anything her team did, we lost that contract and a few others as our property was a special situation. She never gave up, she always responded quickly, (within the day) and she made us feel like we were in the best hands to get it done. Turns out we were! We finally got a contract to stick, (again ours was a difficult one to sell due to many factors) and even when that buyer threw us for a loop she was right there, giving the advice we needed to get it sold. She feels like a member of the family. Sincerely! The whole team did a great job communicating back and forth to get us through to our closing. (Thanks Rachel!) Now that we are sold, Katie even helped us with arranging for us to see properties in our price range, which can difficult to do, and we look forward to working with her buyers agent Alona! We will definitely go to Firefly Realty for anything real estate related in the future. You guys are hands down the best in our opinion! Thanks for never giving up, and for treating us so well through all the difficult situations we went through! Amazing team! ZillowVERIFIED WOW! Katie gets an A+++ from me. When my sister died, she left her estate to her four siblings, all of whom live several hundred miles away. Unfamiliar with Asheville, we randomly selected several realtors to view the house. I was chosen to make the selection.I contacted Katie, and instead of immediately giving me what she thought the house would sell for, she told me about her approach to selling a house: where she would advertise; how she would talk with neighbors who might generate leads; and how she would work with other realtors. I had invited other realtors to view the house and Katie was the only one who took the time and effort to introduce me to her business and what her approach to selling the house would be. This presentation gave me the confidence that I would be leaving the house and the sale in competent hands. After she thoroughly examined the house, her estimate for a sales price differed little from the estimates of other realtors, but after just a few days, Katie had a bid that that exceeded our expectations. Katie guided the sale through the closing, advising us as to which of the buyers requests should be met, and which we should refuse. She is skilled at negotiating the closing offer that was in our asking price range. During due diligence, the first appraisal by an appraiser was from out of the area. She worked with the buyers agent to find an appraiser from WNC that knew the area and the true value of the home.Always very prompt in answering our questions and concerns. We would certainly use Katie again in listing any additional properties.
