Since the seller's agent had little time before closing Karen recommend a contractor she knew well for good work who completed the job to our satisfaction before closing. Highly recommended.

Given that we live in S.C., communication was very important, and Karen and her team were excellent! They answered our questions & inquiries quickly. We were even able to negotiate a contract and make all the arrangments for a new roof while we were overseas. Further, when our house first went on the market and was empty at high season, she found a couple who wanted to rent it for 3 months while keeping it on the market. This rental income was an unexpected blessing! And on top of all those tangibles, she is a wonderful caring person. My experience with Karen Kamperman as my realtor was an unfortunate one. Throughout the process, she exhibited concerning behaviors that fell far short of the standards expected from a real estate professional. Unfortunately, she did what she wanted to do on any/all communication. She took the liberty to tell us what she thought was what we wanted to hear, whether truthfull or not. This caused numerous delays and had a negative impact on the entire process. These issues caused significant stress and wasted valuable time during a critical point in my real estate journey. I am shocked at the "5 star" reviews; I actually wish that I could give her "0 stars", but that's not an option here. If you are considering hiring a realtor, I urge you to look elsewhere. There are many qualified and ethical professionals who can provide the support and guidance you deserve during your real estate transaction.
