My biggest advice for buyers, especially in a competitive market like Central Texas, is to get crystal clear on your priorities and non-negotiables before you start touring homes. The market moves fast, so knowing what matters most to you—whether it’s location, layout, or future potential—will help you move confidently when the right opportunity presents itself. I also encourage buyers to get fully educated on the process up front. I believe the best transactions happen when my clients feel empowered and prepared at every step.

Presentation is everything. In today’s market, buyers are making decisions within seconds of seeing a property online. Investing in staging, thoughtful design touches, and high-quality photography can make a significant difference in both the speed of the sale and your final return. I always remind sellers that they’re not just selling a house—they’re selling a lifestyle. Helping buyers envision themselves in the space is key.

I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients—from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors and relocation clients moving into the Austin area. I have a soft spot for first-time buyers because I remember what it was like purchasing my first investment property at 19. Guiding them through what can feel like an overwhelming process and watching them cross that finish line is something I’ll never get tired of.

One that stands out was working with a young couple purchasing their first home here in Central Texas. They came in overwhelmed by the market, unsure if it was even the right time. We spent time getting them prepped, setting realistic expectations, and focusing on homes with long-term value and future potential. When we finally found “the one,” we structured a strong, creative offer that stood out among multiple bids—and won. Seeing their excitement on closing day made every bit of effort worth it. They also got to keep their current home in South Austin as a rental property, and we easily got them qualified tenants within days.

I got my start in real estate as early as possible because I knew this was the industry where I belonged. I earned my real estate license at 18 and quickly recognized the opportunity within Austin’s leasing market. During my first year as a full-time leasing agent, I was honored to be named a Top Austin Leasing Agent after closing the highest number of transactions in the metro, year to date. At 19, I purchased my first home — an experience that completely shifted my perspective. It opened my eyes to the personal and professional power of real estate and the doors it can unlock - literally. That pivotal moment inspired me to expand my career beyond leasing and transition from my background in interior design to a Creative Director role and agent role for a top-performing real estate team. In that position, I gained invaluable insight into the business side of real estate and discovered my passion for helping clients not only buy and sell homes but also see the untapped potential in every space and opportunity.
