He will call you a needy tenant if you ask for maintenance and complain about any issues. ZillowVERIFIED Michael stepped in and took over for Kai during the process. Michael was very patient with us, while we checked out several houses, sometimes even twice in the same day. His communication was very responsive, and never left me waiting for a reply to an email or text. Even if he didn't have the information i was requesting, he would still acknowledge my message and let me know he would look into it. The process went fairly smooth, with a few hiccups along the way from the lender and title company, to no fault of his own. But when he saw that things were getting out of hand, he stepped in and righted the ship. He gave me some valuable information along the way and even was with me throughout the closing process. As a first time homeowner this was all knew to me, so i value all the gems that he shared with me. I have already started putting his wisdom to use. Kai was instrumental in getting this deal closed - I selected him based on the frequency of closings and the positive ratings that he has accumulated and I was not disappointed. He was masterful at working through a challenging negotiation with the seller and was able to get all of the important issues resolved in my favor. Additionally, he is beyond spectacular with respect to communication. He quite literally left the country the day after I initially spoke to him and we still maintained (at least)daily contact while the contract was being negotiated - while he was in Europe. We were living in Pennsylvania at the time and when we email Kai on Zillow he called us immediately back, on a Sunday night. Kai explained the house in detail and the history of the house. We drove down for open house and immediately my wife fell in love with it. Zillow had great photos that were true and corrrect when we arrived. (Zillow is a great site). ZillowVERIFIED When we began the process to find and buy a home, we knew we needed to find a realtor we'd like working with - so we searched for realtors in Tampa and read reviews, and Kai stood out to us above all others. I soon found out why. From the first time I reached out to Kai and he responded within minutes to set up a call, I knew we made a good choice. Throughout the process, Kai was extremely responsive - usually replying almost immediately to my questions. He is very knowledgeable about the housing market in Tampa, and very good at finding listings that included most, if not all, of the things we really wanted to have in our new home. Kai is also very patient and does not push his clients through the process - whether it takes two months or two years, he will be with you the whole way through, as he wants his clients to find the best home for them based on their wants, needs and current situation. When we started our search, we knew we had about a year, so we were not in a rush; however, we found the home we really wanted very quickly after we started working with Kai. He offered his expert advice on what terms to put into the offer to work on achieving the best possible outcome for us, and employed his extensive experience in negotiations with the seller throughout the process, always keeping us in mind as the top priority. Kai also had contacts that he recommended for each stage of the process (e.g. lending, inspections, homeowner's insurance) - we shopped around just to see what options were out there, but ended up going with each of those contacts and have been very happy with them as well. Overall, the process seemed to be far less stressful than it otherwise could have been, certainly because of Kai. Now that we have closed on our first home - the one we really wanted - I can definitely say that when we decide to sell and buy again a few years down the road, I'll certainly be giving Kai a call. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy and/or sell.
