There was a lot to do to get our home ready for sale and we were not in the area to help. So, June was left to do much of the work. She found and worked with handymen, painters, gardeners, plumbers, HVAC folks and roofers to get estimates and get the work done. We trusted her completely to act on our behalf. She kept in touch often and we never questioned her integrity or that she was working for us. When we closed on the house, I told her that she had definitely earned her commission! What transpired was a lengthy search that encompassed over 50 homes of varying age, location and type. Throughout this time, June was very supportive, patient and understanding. The net result of this effort was our purchase of a lot with the dream of designing and building a home. Months later, a job change took us across the country leaving an empty lot behind. ZillowVERIFIED I was referred to June by a friend of a friend before I even arrive in Asheville, and we started working together on the phone and through email. She cleared her schedule for the day after I arrived in town (a Tuesday), and we started looking. She was incredibly responsive and intuitive about what I wanted and needed, and we quickly zoned in on the area where I wanted to live, which was out in rural Henderson County, southeast of Asheville. On the 4th day I was in town, the second day that she and I went looking, we found the house of my dreams. The next day we viewed it again, and I was sure. That afternoon (the Saturday after I arrived), she wrote the offer with me. The next day (Sunday) the seller countered, we countered, and a final price was agreed upon. I met her that afternoon at a house she was showing to hand off the deposits and by Monday afternoon, literally just under a week after I arrived Asheville, I was under contract. The following weeks were filled with some issues that the seller took care of, including foundation repairs and many small problems with the house. June was fantastic guide and resource for me throughout the entire time, staying in touch, making recommendations and ensuring that I understood and was comfortable with everything. I was a first-time homebuyer and June treated me with respect and kindness through the entire sometimes stressful process. We closed 5 weeks later and I am currently extremely happy in my wonderful new home. I would not hesitate to recommend June to anyone no matter what kind of house, location or price range they are working with. She is incredibly smart and on top of her game. Thank you so much, June! I can't state enough how lucky we were that June was the agent they recommended. This was our first home purchase, and my wife and I weren't very knowledgeable about the purchasing a home or North Carolina-specific processes. June took the time to explain how everything worked and no question went unanswered (trust me, I ask a lot of questions). She listened to our wants and needs and immediately went to work. After reviewing several listings in the weeks leading up to our house hunting visit, we met and toured about 10 homes. Once we narrowed down to the two that interested us most, she took the time to work with us to determine all of the pros and cons of each property (including what I consider true "above and beyond" research). Once ready to make an offer, June expertly guided us through the negotiation process; once the offer was accepted, she followed up throughout the due diligence process to make sure everything was on track. What can I say? June is truly exceptional and dedicated to her clients. She is also incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. Buying a home and relocating (and having to do so in a very short period of time) is probably the scariest thing my wife and I have had to do as a couple. I am so thankful that we had June to guide us through the process. We are in a wonderful home and a great neighborhood. That is all thanks to June. As soon as I saw a house come on the market that I wanted to see (if she hadn't already contacted me about it), I would call and she'd meet me the same day without delay. Houses in my price range were going under contract so quickly, I couldn't waste time. She helped me understand the different types of loans out there and explained the pros and cons of each. She gave me good advice after the home inspection. Three years later I got married and sold my house. I didn't think of calling anyone other than June to list the property. The buyer's realtor was inexperienced and had trouble following through and doing things correctly. This was very frustrating for both of us. But June was right there doing her best to keep him on track and the ball rolling. Oh, and did I mention, we sold my house for a lot more than I thought we would? June did her research. She knew what she was doing when she suggested the list price. We had 2 offers on my house after 3 days on the market and over 20 showings. If I ever move back to the Asheville area, I'll be giving her a call.
