Very patient with us, listened to what we were looking for and found us a wonderful home in a great neighborhood. When we finally did put in an offer she was in contact with us quickly to let us know what to do, and gave us advice on how to advance with the purchase. Very knowledgeable and just wonderful to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED Julie Vorachek is an unethical realtor who openly lies to her clients and has violated multiple standards of practice in the Code of Ethics.I was recruited out of state by UND, and I was assigned to Julie through Zillow. I asked her to see a home. I took a friend, and when we went into the house, she was on the phone, describing the house. She finally got off the phone and said she had been talking to her mom. She remained distracted and texting during my entire visit. She would not answer my HOA inquiries. Upon leaving, I told her in front of a witness that I wanted to make an offer, and she snapped at me and said I didn't want the house because it had no windbreak for snow. Not a typical response. When I got home, I texted Julie, reiterating I wanted to make an offer and requested various information. She was slow to respond. She only answered one question of my multiple questions. She did not respond to my decision for an offer. Four hours later, she sent me a new listing for a different house. Who does that???I called a new agent in the morning begging someone to help me get into my new home. I had no idea why Julie wasn't helping me or why she would intentionally delay my offer. A few hours later, I put in an offer with my new agent, and I went to a UND event.Between that time, I was contacted and told that Julie had acted as agent for HER OWN MOTHER SHE HAD BEEN ON THE PHONE WITH IN MY PRESENCE AND THE PRESENCE OF ANOTHER UND REPRESENTATIVE. She had delayed my offer to enter her mother's first, and she won that bid. I bid the same listing price, but was a few hours too late because she engineered this situation, didn't disclose anything to me, and delayed my bid. Julie, the sellers, and Julie's mother knew about multiple offers, so I was the only one at an unfair advantage, and I lost the bid. Julie also lied to me about two other listings, their status, and basement flooding.I called Julie and she openly admitted all of this to me on the phone. She was unashamed.I am contacting the North Dakota Real Estate Commission to have her license revoked. I am UND PROUD, and I'm not letting her treat UND recruits like this anymore because we deserve better as a community in Grand Forks.
