Julie Kersting

Julie Kersting, REALTORA(R) | 8z Real Estate

A lifetime of local knowledge. More than four decades of real estate expertise. A genuine connection to the place she calls home.

For Julie Kersting, Buena Vista is more than a beautiful mountain community-it is home. A Buena Vista native who grew up here and graduated from Buena Vista High School, Julie possesses a rare depth of knowledge and connection to the valley and the people who make it special.

After living in Golden, Julie and her husband, Lon, returned to Buena Vista in 2001 to raise their three children. Today, they are proud to call the valley home alongside their two dogs. Her commitment to Buena Vista extends far beyond her real estate career. Julie has a long history of giving back to the community through her support of youth programs, school events, soccer, baseball and softball, the BV Pregnancy Center, local Rotary, and the Boys & Girls Club.

Julie's real estate career began in 1985, when she earned her Colorado Real Estate Broker license, following her Paralegal Degree in 1984. In 2006, she opened a franchise real estate office in Buena Vista, serving as Owner/Broker for 10 years and later as Managing Broker for a local real estate company for 6 years. Today, as a REALTORA(R) with 8z Real Estate, she brings more than 25 years of industry experience and an unparalleled understanding of the local market.

Her expertise encompasses far more than market statistics and transactions. Julie understands the nuances of Buena Vista's neighborhoods, properties, land, mountain lifestyle, and evolving real estate landscape. Her experience allows her to offer thoughtful guidance, informed perspective, and a level of local insight that can be invaluable when making one of life's most significant investments.

Yet for Julie, real estate has always been about people first. She takes great pride in cultivating lasting relationships and becoming a trusted resource for her clients long after the closing table. Whether helping someone discover their Colorado mountain retreat, purchase a local business, sell a cherished property, or begin an entirely new chapter, Julie approaches every relationship with integrity, discretion, and genuine care.

Rooted in Buena Vista. Experienced in real estate. Invested in the people and places that make this valley extraordinary.

For Julie, helping her clients find their place in the mountains is not simply a profession-it is a privilege.
