Get pre-qulaified by a lender and have a letter ready when you write an offer. Be sure your agent is full time, has additional education and recommendations.
Be sure to have your home in "inspection ready" condition. The little things can make a buyer look further if you have chipped paint, weeds, dirty windows, etc. Attention to home owner ship is key. Everyone wants to buy a clean and well cared for home.
